Poor hubby! @Brie
Thanks @savingholmes and @beanielou
@another_casualty wise words as usual. Thank you
Yesterday I went to the creative members club instead of the archive to begin my membership there. It was great. Working in such comfort. Great light too. So good to be in a beautiful space where every detail was geared towards comfort. Huge windows and lots of space. I found a place with no one about and opened a window that overlooked a beautiful square. I even enjoyed the toilets, as they had individual units, marble floors and were the size of the room I sleep in! I took a sandwich and soup and fruit but as I had not had breakfast. I ended up hungry at 5pm. Take more food next time!
Transport bad coming back, so going to go when they do late nights and Saturdays, so I am not coming back during rush hour. Long walk as I got off the overcrowded bus.
Whilst I was out the workman came and now my window will open (although the owner has the key!) Will get that today...
The owner of the house is very security conscious. I realise that I don't use the kitchen as much as I would do if I was on my own so I bought a huge 5 litres of water to keep in my room and not so dehydrated now.
Like most living things I need air, water and light. Getting there.
I gifted a relative a small amount that I could not really afford, but won on the PBs. A small win but that helped offset...
Today I pick up the coffeepot and soup maker!
I will also do some paperwork at a little study area I spotted at the swimming pool
I also have an important financial frog to swallow. Gulp.

Haha @another_casualty. Thanks @Sunshine_girl2 Thanks @savingholmes, yes, club was a real boost to my spirits
Two posts in one day. It must be the fresh air!I ate FINANCIAL FROG NO 1. The call took 50 minutes of holding, but when it was answered it was not helpful. I went to the library and was given a number. I called FINANCIAL FROG NO 2 Held for 30 minutes. Not resolved. Given another number but it was the wrong department. Seems like lots of wasted time but I am clearer on what I now need to do.
I ate a completely different FINANCIAL FROG (NO 3) I did not get a good result but I know what I need to on that one now.
I posted a Tax Credit question and now understand it a little better. It will guide my decision for the next tax year.
I picked up my coffee maker and the soup maker.
Not a particularly fun day and the weather here is grey and dank. On the other hand I made good progress.
I will have a more relaxing day tomorrow.
I hope your week ended well.

The club sounds wonderful, it's the little details which make the biggest impact.
Thank goodness you've an opening window, would have bee too stifling in a few months.
You're keeping the frog population under control and taking positive steps each time.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.8 -
Pleased to hear creative club is a good place to be. The frogs sound awful and it's so wearing trying to resolve issues when telephone calls take so long. By the time you can speak to a person I've almost lost the will to do so! Good news about the window too.6

Hi there DIA,
Caught up on your diary last week after finding you again!!
You are doing so well after what you have been through.
Little by little you will get there. Thinking back to where you were before, my goodness what a journey. We sometimes forget how far we've come as we are so immersed in the present.
Looking forward to your next chapter.
It's a lovely sunny day today. Need to go for a run soon. Then chores and catch up. Foolishly booked a shift 3.30-8.00. Haven't done one since last year. Will hopefully be ok and the time will fly by.
Enjoy your day.8 -
Thanks @maggiem, eating frogs is wearing. But it feels like progress in an area I can be proactive, unlike my housing situation!
Thanks @movingforwards You are right. So relieved about the window!
Thanks @Mrs_Boo_Boo your positive vibes are appreciated. Hope the shift and the run went well.
My mind kept pulling me back to unpleasantness and negativity this morning so instead of dwelling I decided to get frog eating…I made a visit to the storage unit. I took a case in to be stored and took out a few things that can be used here. Then, I used my CC pay in advance and as usual I haggled for a deal and saved over £200. A good day’s work. MSE.
Constantly clearing my CC to a nil balance is a struggle sometimes, but it means I can use it for important things when they come up. I have a plan to clear the balance next week but it will involve eating yet another financial frog…
I used the coffee percolator this morning. I love the simplicity of it. It is 100% stainless steel and shiny. Very good value for what it is, if you like that sort of thing…It made full bodied coffee and it is easy to clean. Win. Win.
The owner is away tonight so I am going to hog the bathroom for a long soak and hair wash
Hope everyone is ok
