I don't know what will happen if you haven't set it up, you might need to set up icloud first on the old phone. When I got a new one, I just had to sit the two phones next to each other and everything transferred over automatically."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I think icloud is already set up. I need to check back ups but scared to turn the old phone back on incase the screen's black spots spread even more quickly. Will do it tomorrow when I'm with someone who can help. I posted on tech site and they are saying a similar thing to you.
I spent a few hours getting removal quotes.
Maybe it is the phone plus the house move but I am feeling VERY stressed today. I have just come back from a walk and slightly less stressed but not much. Slept poorly last night too, so an early one tonight.

Sorry you are feeling stressed. I hope you had a better nights sleep and feel better today. The unexpected problems (i.e. phone) always add disproportionate hassle when you've already got a lot on."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Yesterday I acquired the new to me, phone and I bought a protective cover all for under £100. I will be funding it from day to day spending and protecting my savings. It should last me a few years as the battery is new 100% health and everything works well. My old one had a broken screen and was a bit tatty. This is a pleasure to use. The phone needed my phone number reactivated to imessaging and pleasingly, I worked it out without help.
In the end, the old phone was embarrassingly simple to transfer to the new one...
As of today I have a very frugal fortnight coming up due to the phone, but I'm ok with that and it won't affect my monthly budget going forward
I sorted out my removals with widely varying quotes in high hundreds to low/mid hundreds. I have found a way to do it at a reasonable price. A sibling is happy to help with local removals alongside a removal man. A friend will be staying for a few days. It will be nice and I will treat them all to fish and chips and champagne. Other stuff accumulated elsewhere will be scooped up by a family friend with a van who is happy to do it for the cost of petrol. This leaves my emergency fund above £1000 once all costs have been accounted for. It also leaves my credit card untouched and clear, another source of (very short term) emergency fund if required. I am happy with that.
No news from the solicitor for a few days...
I chased a refund that was complicated as I had used the wrong refund code. All sorted now and refund on its way back.
I slept well. I am back to feeling positive
I hope everyone is ok.

Glad you are feeling better and great news about the removals being sorted, and EF staying at a decent level.
Also glad you got the phone sorted and at a good price and without dipping into savings."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
