Thanks for the positivity @Sun_Addict @beanielou @savingholmes and @jwil
And for the ideas @lucielle @MovingForwards @WelshmansDaughter @Sun_Addict
Since my last post I have been away to the cottage. The aim was to do some creative work but after the bombshell of having to find somewhere to live YET AGAIN I used the time to think, treat myself well and regain my centre. It was a lovely time away and I spent the time searching for the opportunity that is embedded in every crisis.
Update:- I viewed the house next door to the one most recently lost. I liked it a lot. Offer in. There are apparently another 2 people interested so going to full and final. I increased my offer by £15,000. The agent came back to say another person interested. I said I'm not moving from what I offered.( It isn't worth more, given the work required.) Initially upset, but now thinking I will get something for less money as the market is falling where I am looking. What will be, will be. I'll know on Tuesday...
- I booked to go back to the part of the world I went to last year. Once the flight is paid for this works out cheaper than renting (if I could even find somewhere) This is a magical place where I can work creatively very well. I can get fitter and healthier there. I will have a free apartment for myself very near to a close relative. I go next week. I am back in February, although if houses come up I can change my ticket home for a cost of £50 to come home.
- I have a flat in a lovely location for the month of February. It will cost me 1/2 the market rent
- I can leave my things with my current host who has storage space. I will pick up my case full of stuff to travel around with on my return. I will swap the summer case I am taking for the winter one when I get back.
- When I am back the search will continue!
- I can stay with my sister if flat doesn't come through immediately, so won't be street homeless!!!
- Arrange 12 weeks storage on Monday. Get discount!
- Pack hand luggage
- Finish shopping list
- Clear items from room and kitchen into a storage box
Hoping everyone is ok

Sometimes I think it would be better if you just lived a nomadic life rather than buying somewhere.2
