Today I am grateful for there still being a lovely full moon, for dc having a good time at the youth club, for catching up with a slippery student and getting some work out of him, for dh filing his tax return and being £50 under the threshold!, for arnica.

Took hubby to & from his dialysis. In between & all afternoon I've been sorting more stuff in my bedroom. The bed was totally covered, 2' high in places. Had a mad clearing session at 5.30, so I had somewhere to sit to eat my tea! Quite tired tonight, so have done some knitting.
Grateful for putting like with like, so I can see what I've got, a rainbow on the way home from the hospital, more items to donate or throw awayUse it up, wear it out

Good evening 🌖
Had a crazy busy day at work and felt like my head was about to explode come home time. Felt ok - then spoke to the ex and said he could come with me to visit Mum tomorrow... and then got really sad. He hasn't seen her in ages, and I think having him there is going to make it really hard for me not to get upset. Ah well. I wanted to give him a chance to see her at least once more and say his goodbyes if he wants to. I just hate showing emotion in front of anyone though so it's going to be really tough.
After typing here, am going to drag myself out for a late night walk, and clear my head... Plus I forgot to input breakfast today and now gone 300Kcal over my allowance. Whoopsie!!!
Mothernerd - there is definitely something about dressing gowns. I'm in mine the minute I get home these nights... though have to then de-cuddle from it to go out and do my steps haha.
Deni - made me laugh about your friend and cheered me up. Can think of times me or work colleague have had the giggles too... to the point I've been pinching myself really hard or biting my lip to try and stop myself laughing haha. I'm usually the one that starts it off I confess.
Apple - is arnica much good for joint pain. My knees play up from time to time - especially after the gym. I'm trying Tumeric tea and can't decide if it's working or not.
Today I am grateful for:
1) My health, sanity (fluctuating!), mobility and senses
2) For colleagues being helpful at work today and some positive patient feedback!
3) For my ex - he usually cheers my up (by insulting me haha)
Today = NSD number 15
Night everyone x

Evening, not long in from work, and am aching and knackered - not used to standing up for 12 hours at a stretch, and it hurts!!! Anyway, they will make it up to me by paying me lots and lots of lovely money, so I will stop complaining.Feel I have totally abandoned you all! Sorry! On NSD 10, so yay me. 3 days worked, and 3 to go.Sorry mothernerd - I meant pressure from your mum's partner's family, not yours. I hope one day I will have as big a family get-together as you have had. It sounds lovely. I will try and emulate you, and plan something amazing.Have an appointment with a hot bath, or I am going to be stiff as a board tomorrow morning, but all I want is my bed right now.Gratitudes: Seeing a friend whose daughter was graduating today (I did not know she was going to be there - made my day), DH saving me some supper, winning ALL the football, emergency panettone.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Morning Turtles,
I was 12 hours at the screen yesterday and didn't post yesterday. I had a small spend day yesterday. I did get out in the day time for a 3,000 + step walk, my flat is a basement and there is zero natural light in the spot that I work in.
Gratitudes for yesterday
- getting a report done
- making soup and eating it
- quick hoover and mop around (have a keep it clean regime happening)
Not really much joy - but satisfying.3-month emergency fund (Cash ISA & PBs): £4744/ £6,000

Abundant, I'm using arnica on my bruises as I had a whopper of a fall when ice skating and my elbow and knee took the brunt of it. It's not for general joint pain though, but works wonders with bruises.
