Go somewhere that can assess your gait for trainers. I went to a running shop even though I'm overweight and the chap there was super friendly and helpful. There's no point spending a fortune on the wrong thing.
Thank you.  I don't know if we've got anywhere near here that does that, but I'll have a look.

I'm so tired today.  I'll be on my feet all day so that will be good for me.  I got on the scales again and even heavier again this morning!  I might just lock them away for a while.  I haven't reacted though, it's just a number today.

    Done my PADs.

Have a good day everyone :)
I hate it when that happens. It’s probably all water, but still so annoying.
I have some Nike (Pegasus 29 on the label), they were my first expensive (for me) trainers…and I confess I only bought them because they are purple, but they’ve lasted for years and are really comfy, like walking on air.
    Thank you.  That sounds good!

Put the scales away jwil 😼
Well, at least after  a few weeks of consistency in your new approach.
if you keep this  up , you'll feel a difference eventually . It'll take a few weeks but don't dwell on anything . Just keep implementing changes gradually .
Good luck with the trainers .
    Enjoy the sunshine ..

You are right as ever thank you.  I will put them away and concentrate on how I feel instead.

    Have a good day!

I've got a bit of a reprieve as I need to wait for some equipment to be delivered here last minute.  It should be here by 10.30, then I'll head out.  I am going to try and catch up with housework while I wait so I don't have to do it tomorrow.  DH's taken the kids swimming so I've got the house to myself.

Well annoyingly the delivery never appeared.  I waited until just after 11 when DH came home, and he said he'd wait for it.

No sign at all.  The event went really well though, really positive.  I was so achey when I came home though!

We took the kids to the optician at lunchtime to find out they'd cancelled the appointment.  Apparently they'd been trying to phone all morning.  It looks like there is a problem with our home phones as a neighbour said she had been trying to call us too.  Need to try and see what's happening there.  Hopefully it's just a loose cable or something.  However, they gave us £10 worth of points for the inconvenience, so that's nice!  We've re-booked for Thursday as well.

I am planning on a chilled day today.  I'm still aching, and shattered.  I definitely need to work on my strength and fitness!

Well done on the PADs. On the health and fitness - try and think about what would nourish your body most. I am sometimes often ridiculous for spending £ on chocolate but looking at strawberries and mangos and saying they are too expensive. Check whether you have any inbuilt things like that and try and switch them.
