I'm so pleased to be under £100k. I'd really like to get to £75k, that's where I figure either of us could manage on our own if necessary. (Though hopefully no need!)
This month hopefully won't be quite so expensive but we do have the boiler service booked, and I have an eye test and we have a weekend away, so maybe it will be!
I'm getting edgy and stroppy again, so I'm going to look at trying to book a couple of days off work and hopefully get that time to myself. I just want to do a bit of tidying and cleaning around the house and have the space to do it, and without being constantly interrupted. I'm loving the lighter days but it does highlight the dirt!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Woo hoo on being under 100k

It has been all go for you for sometime, and with all the extra effort it’s understandable for you to feel a little crabby 🦀
Great news on getting below £100k😼👍3 -

I've just signed up for the preventing diabetes programme. I didn't realise quite how full on it's going to be! Fortnightly sessions, monthly sessions, a 40 minute assessment. It's a bit overwhelming! Hopefully it will help though.
I tried to do a bit of a stock up in my grocery shop this morning - lots of cupboard bits and some frozen. I had some great substitutions though, I was well up on what I ordered! Every little helps indeed
DH has sold a couple of items as well. He seems to be busy sorting stuff out too so all good."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -
Today I placed an order with Who Gives a Crap for loo roll. I've been meaning to do it for ages, but it always seemed like a lot to spend at once. I worked it out though compared to what we normally buy, and it's actually the same as what we normally pay, (I worked out the price per sheet
) The big bonus is it's sustainable, does a little bit of good in the world and I'll not have to worry about running out
Another couple of items sold today.
I made a donation to the Red Cross today as well. It's all so awful"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee6 -
Great news re the mortgage - well done 🎉🎈🎆4

Great progress on the mortgage.
Well done on the donation. I agree it is a bad situation. It feels really random as I rarely read the news so didn't have some of the build up others did... Scary.
