Thank you.  I'm also looking forward to it being behind us.  I think bojo is just planning on letting it rip and sod the vulnerable if the rumours about removal of self isolation in March are true.  Quite frankly everything else they deny turns out to be true!

Day 6, another negative for us all, another positive for little miss.  I'm starting to think this day 5 thing is a myth.  I wonder how many people just give up and release themselves anyway.

It's such a fight to give little miss the test, I'm amazed we're getting any results, as I think the swab barely touches her nose!  Given that she can't go to school anyway, I'm tempted just to let her complete the rest of her isolation without testing any more.  It ends on Sunday, so would only mean she misses swimming on Saturday.

We've all got one more day of testing otherwise then our 7 days are up.

My throat is still sore but not getting any worse, so that's good.

I've paid £5 to the mortgage from ebay sales.

Happy day off to me!  Not sure what we will be up to, not a lot probably!

Fwiw, I got a grey package posted to me . I didn't even open it ! 

After being bashed about relentlessly from the national wealth even after getting jab no.3 I decided not to bother with it and whatever will be will be . Into the cupboard it went .

It's different when children are involved as in your case , but as I'm a big child myself I just had enough. 

As for the throat , have you tried a hot toddy ? At the first signs of a a cold etc a neat Jameson's is recommended 1st thing in morning and last thing at night . Then again , if it's tonsillitis  what about ice cream ?😼

That's fair enough and I think a lot of people have had enough.  If we weren't having contact with others then I wouldn't bother.   The only reason I'm testing her is because she wants to see her grandparents, and I won't put them at risk (and is the reason I test before I meet them).  It's that close now to the end of her isolation that there doesn't seem much point continuing.  Little jwil has to test as a close contact for school, and DH is going out to work.  I've done the 7 day testing as a close contact - it's probably more important for me as I am with her 24/7.

Good thinking about the hot toddy, thank you.  I do have honey and lemon so might make a drink of that.  Ice cream is always worth a shot

Little miss and I have had a creative day today (well, more her than me!)  She's been painting, making models with her hama beads, playing with Lego and we did have a little dance together earlier.

I did finally get round to priming the dolls house.  There was lots of swearing, grumbling, and ungratefulness involved 😖 but it doesn't look too bad, and I was very relieved when I got to the end!  I'm not creative, and I don't enjoy the process, and I'm not very good at it! I can't do any of the other jobs to it without painting it first I think so it needed to be done.  I'll do another coat and then I'll have to look at the inside which has been partly decorated.

I've cashed out a £5 amazon voucher from RM surveys today.
