There seems to be divided opinions from the people who have been to See Monster. Some think its great and others think its an aweul waste of money. The one good thing whatever your opinion is that it has got people talking which is possibly the point.I cant really comment as I havent seen it since it was finished and I dont think I could make it up the steps anyway.Try and rest you knee tomorrow as you have hammered it in the last couple of days. The fruit and veg box sounds amazing much better than the ones I have seen.Good luck with the car tomorrow.1

Great news on the switching bonus. Well done on the exercise and sight seeing. Would your knee like swimming/water exercise?
I was recommended to wear the type of trainers I have in the house when I had knee problems as it provides cushioning. As1cs - the ones with gel cushioning support.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Yes, it's good that people are talking about it, and as with any art, some will love it and some will hate it. There are lifts there for those who need them.

Thank you for the trainer recommendations, I'll look into those."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -

Well the car has gone! They were here nice and early this morning. I'm celebrating inside as DH is quite upset especially as they told him it would be banger raced and scrapped. I think he was hoping someone would restore it and he always wanted to.
Hopefully he'll soon start to appreciate the extra space and the ease of getting to the garage.
Not much else planned for today, just chilling.
My knee seems less painful today thankfully."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
Glad your knee is easing.

'Celebrating inside' made me smileKnee seems to mostly have eased again, though I haven't walked as much as usual today.

Happy payday! That one seems to have crept up on me. I suppose my account wasn't so empty this month as it had the money for the electrics in it, as well as the switching bonuses. I must sort out the finances though.
I also need to double check whether there are any ongoing deposit requirements for the accounts, I'm not sure there are, but I've bounced my wages around a bit just in case
I had a meeting in another town today, so took an early lunchbreak and picked up a few bits for little miss's birthday and for both for Christmas. I want to be done by the end of November, so I need to pick up the pace. It was a busy day with calls and meetings so a good job I did take that early lunch as I wouldn't have got it otherwise.
I posted a pile of books to a friend, using up some of my stamps, and also posted an ebay parcel. I may not need to swap out any more, as I can use them for Christmas cards. I could do with a couple more ebay sales just to be sure!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
