Glad you enjoyed the See Monster. I have only seen it when it first arrived in WsM. It wasnt impressive then but perhaps it has improved with the work they have done.

Well done on the PADs.
Ouch to needing a bigger re-wire than you thought. Better to know though. Better to be safe.
What thoughts have you had about how to pay for it? Do you have any idea how much £ you'll need?Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

What thoughts have you had about how to pay for it? Do you have any idea how much £ you'll need?I have no idea how we will pay for it. It's going to be probably £5-6K. We will probably get it done bit by bit as it's not desperately urgent and then we can save up for each phase. We've asked for a quote to do the kids rooms and hallway as before as well as anything else that needed to be accessed through the floorboards in those two rooms. Then hopefully we can get that done as planned. I'll just have to wait (and hope that he's willing to come again!).

A couple of pics from the other day. You can walk up to each level, and there is a slide from the top level to the middle level which DH and little jwil had great fun on."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". We got my tyre done as well, so that's another £83 gone. Turning into a spendy month! At least it's done before winter though so I'm happy.
We were meant to be meeting friends today but they've cancelled so just going to chill out I think. Maybe try and do a bit of decluttering. I feel quite drained."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -
Perhaps resting would be a good plan.

It's turned out to be not such a restful day after all.
Popped out to Lidl and Morrisons this morning for a few bits. I managed to get one of the £1.50 fruit and veg boxes in Lidl, and got a fantastic selection. Clementines, Apples, plums, bananas, pomegranate, potatoes, onions, aubergine, lettuce, peppers. Really pleased.
We then decided to go to a local house and gardens to do a Halloween trail with the kids. That was a lovely walk and the kids had fun on the trail.
Not such a restful day but good exercise. All the stairs on the see monster and the hills today haven't done my knee any good, but hopefully it will ease again soon as hopefully it's getting stronger.
I really want to hibernate for a few weeks. I think I'm all peopled out. Tomorrow the people are coming to get the car so hopefully they will come fairly early and get it over with. They haven't looked at it, just bid, so there's no guarantee until they've collected it. They have transferred the money though, so at least they'll probably turn up!
We're with Bulb, so now transferring to Octopus. They would have been my choice for switching so I'm happy with that.
I've had my other switching bonus, so that will go to savings towards the electrics."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2
