"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -
We had a lovely if not very tiring day yesterday! It wasn't too busy at all, even on the tube each time we managed to find seats - very surprising (and a relief). That natural history museum was amazing, but we barely touched it really. Definitely one to spend several days at doing each section in detail.
Unfortunately we didn't manage to see Buckingham Palace or the flowers etc as all the roads were blocked off, and they weren't letting people through. There probably was a way around, but we didn't really have time to figure it out and we were all getting tired by then. It was a shame though, it would have been nice to see it.
Little miss was sick in the night, though she's fine this morning. I think it was just over tiredness, the excitement, and lots of junk food rather than a bug thankfully. She bounced in this morning telling me how she was starvingSo today as well as watching the funeral and just chilling out, I have a load of bedding and soft toys to wash. At least it's dry out!
Have a good day everyone"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
Yes NH museum needs several 'bites' to do it any justice.

Quiet day today. I've watched all the ceremonial bits on TV and taken breaks in between. Prince George and Princess Charlotte are the same ages as little jwil and little miss. I can't imagine at all them having to deal with that sort of stuff. I'm also very grateful that the issues with trains going into and from Paddington didn't happen yesterday!
I've had to put the TD on just to get the bedding dried, the rest can stay on the line.
I've realised that getting out and about and doing these trips is what I want to do more of. I am so fed up of our lives being constrained by stuff. Dealing with it all, trying to declutter, trying to move it around to get to what I need to, is just stressful and timewasting. I just wish DH would feel the same."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -
I’m the same, I’d love to do more of ‘something’. The highlight of my week is generally going to the supermarket and when people at work ask what I did at the weekend I never have anything to say 😕 It’s hard when you don’t get DH buy in!Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
