Hi everyone, taking a minute out to post a pic of my Christmas quilt. I finished it at 11.30 last night - cutting it fine but I made it. It's not perfect but I ❤️ It. The biggest mistake was that I started the free motion quilting with thread I'd had for years. Didn't have enough and couldn't match the shade at the local craft shop. So stitching is in 2 different colours 😱.
I might give myself a target for 2023. Also thinking I might make two similar Christmas quilts to give as gifts to my son's families next year. I'm sure I'll have enough Christmas fabric and will only have to buy the plain fabrics and wadding. I'll think about it.
Have a lovely Christmas everyone xx

Have just had a tot up of every single thing I have made this year and it comes to .. 331. I have a feeling that there have been even more doggy duvets but I have calculated 73. That means that about 1/3 of makes are duvets & kennel coats, 1/3 greetings cards and the rest... assorted items.
last week I sent the charity the money collected by craft fair, dog training & private sales--- I am now just about £130 short of £3 k raised for the assistance charity Dogs for Good. I'm well pleased with that.
Merry Christmas & Happy New year crafting

@emsi_b you've peaked my curiosity-what are popcorn pouches? Sorry to hear of your bad fair experiences too-I've been there! No fun!
I didn't take any photos, but have a spare to make for my son, so will take a photo of that when it's done.

Hi, after a few days with no knitting I've started my next project. Dgd is 3 at the end of January so I've started a dk cardigan for her. It's a Hobbycraft pattern knitted in one to the armholes then a yoke with 3 rows of contrasting bobbles. I've knitted it before and it's quite unusual.
On the sewing front I'm taking a bit of my break. I've decided to organise and declutter the whole house - that'll take me a few weeks 😳

plumduff55 - I shortened another 4 pairs of trousers today - I was asked to shorten some trousers by a Church friend - expected 2/3 pairs to find 7 pairs in the bag.
