I would love to join in this year too, please.

I love doing craft, sewing, and arty things but am having trouble getting started at the moment.  I have a huge stash of material as I find it so hard to throw even the smallest pieces out because I like to keep them, just in case 😁 I have more than a few items of clothing I would like to alter so they fit me better so hopefully I'll get started on those soon too. I did make my Christmas Cards this year from my stash so was very pleased about that as I didn't need to buy any.

I would like to set myself a budget of £50 for the year to buy anything I need but hopefully, most of the items will come from my stash. I would like to make 25 things.  I have one ongoing project that I started in 2019 so I would really, really like to get that finished this year.

Hopefully, this thread will keep me motivated and on track.

    Happy New Year everyone.

    Hi Everyone,
I would like to join too please as I have so much stuff and really want to use what I have instead of buying more. I will set a budget of £50 to spend and also to make 50 items at least. I do patchwork and quilting, knitting and dressmaking and need to decrease my stash. I make knitted blankets and quilts for Project Linus and find that this is a good way to use up my stash. Good luck to everyone and lets hope we all can create some space in or craft spaces by using up our stashes!
Really pleased that I found this post!
  • I would love to join we have a craft room full of crafts supplies and kits and I would love to see them being turned into the projects I intended.

my make target is 104 which will be made up of 52 scrapbook pages and 52 other projects

I don’t have a set budget as I only intend to buy essentials that I cannot continue without such as adhesive and only when I am completely out and cannot find anything else to use.

I would like to join too please. I am so glad I found this thread - I have so much stuff. I will use the £30 craft supply gift voucher I was given for Christmas if I need a small item to finish an article I'm working on. Other than that I'm determined to make 2022 a no spending on crafts year.
I'm so glad you found it too AnimalTribe. Its great to have you onboard.
I cannot wait to hear all about your crafty adventures.
    Good luck x

I started on the second of four blankets but ran out of the wool that I was given. Its a very specific colour and I don't want to buy more. Happily MiL has some so I will get that off her later.

    Morning all.

I’ve been trying to keep busy and on top of stuff. It’s not working.

So far 6 stars Sewn for the never ending quilt.

Two pictures framed and hung. One the frame did cost me from the budget. But I’ve also gained a mount board form the other frame. So that’s not too bad

one box of stuff ready to be moved to a charity shop.

    Four boxes unpacked.

    Christmas tree down and recycled.

Hedge trimmed. (Not exactly crafty - but I’m counting it). 🤣🤣

    17 / 250 makes

    17 / 250 spent.
