Groundhog day here....another day, another positive test 😕 Fingers crossed for tomorrow 🤞 It is day 8 tomorrow, so not much of an early release even if it is negative! Luckily we have tests, and DH & DS are still okay 🙂
My DSis & DBiL popped by to drop off some presents & a food parcel from my mum. We had a doorstep chat from a distance! They are visiting from Yorkshire, and heading back tomorrow. They dropped off DH's present from me as well - an electric guitar that I bought off DBiL. I may regret that decision! 🤣
I finished my accounts yesterday, and submitted my tax return today. That is a major frog munched! I have made a start on this year's accounts, as I am determined to do them earlier (I say that every year!)
DW emptied, washing done & some bits put away. I have also been watching TV and knitting 😁 Tomorrow I think I will put on gardening attire when I get up & tidy the garden for a bit. It needs it!!
Asb I hope the meds are kicking in and you are feeling better soon x
Night night all!

DW been on again.. it is never ending grotty pots!
C&C staying an extra night so they can drive back to Bangor in daylight. They have filled the little car with DD2's millions of belongings so they are no longer in the middle of the floor.
Advice needed.. Best way to clean suede boots? I have seen a fool proof way somewhere but can't for the life of me think where. It's for fairly new Ugg boots DD2 has cast off.

(((Hugs))) and *healing vibes* for you, ASB.A bit of vacuuming done on the top layer, all the Foodbank paperwork finished for the pre-Christmas rush, things tidied, and loo scrubbed.Tomorrow for the first time in months and months I will wake up without a deadline to meet. That will be lovely. Then I will drop Belovéd off at the station for his annual trip to London for new year and I'll have a few days to get myself sort of straight-ish in my usual slapdash and slatternly way.Better is good enough.11

Morning all. Hope you're all ok today.
We have all the family coming over tonight and some staying over so they can have a drink 🥃 so I'll be getting rooms ready this morning. Will also be taking the dogs for a couple of short walks and hopefully make some more progress with the baby cardigan.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.12 -

Morning all
Spent yesterday feeling anxious and out of sorts. I love not having to get up and go to work but really dont think that being out of my normal routine does me any good at all. We have been invited out for NYE but its a big party and DH is worried about Covid, which is fair enough, so we wont go.
DS2 wants to go back to the big city for New Year so we are taking him back, I really dont feel like I have spent much time with him but nothing can be done about it, he is over the Covid at least.
Its grey mild and damp again, I might try and go for a little jog in a bit. We have so much chocolate, alcohol and biscuits and I dont know where to put it all but it needs moving out of the LR. Will also put some washing in later.
Pigpen have you got any Elbow Grease spray? I would use that and give them a really good scrub.

Morning all
off to meet up with my y1 job share today to plan. Normally this one wouldn't fall to me. But the situation is complicated. Anyway I will be glad to make a start, we've all next week too and it will make term time run much more smoothly if we can get lots done.
I have arranged to go to hers. She's in on long term supply but we have worked together in the past...and I am a good team player. Snotty but negative lft. I went a little dizzy shopping for a new over the shoulder bolder holder for my new job on Wednesday. It was a year since DS2 moved out.
I have completed all the training that I have access too.
DH is at work until lunchtime. I plan to change both beds then get dressed 😗
Hope the poorlies are feeling better soon x

Morning all,
wm also done here, plus HHI. It felt like longer, so maybe 2 x HHI, but my fault for liking ironed bedding.
Dw emptied, and WULTD to make some effort at tidying the kitchen. Toaster crumb thingy emptied, even though I am not the toast eater…
Odd remnants (tins) of shopping tidied away.
I’m working hard on bathroom cleaning avoidance now. I might go and scrape the mud off my wellies instead 😉.
Another one here who doesn’t give any clout to new year. September is my new year, but tbh if I don’t want to adopt a new habit, then it doesn’t matter if it is April, June or September. I have the procrastination of a pro and the willpower of a sloth.Ooohh - ta da, I finished the body of DSiL’s shrug last night, just 5 rows of rib to join it together, and that will be done. Lucky that they cancelled their visit to us yesterday, as now I can pretend it was Christmas ready all along.
Hugs, sticks, spoons and gws wishes all available as needed. Help yourselves xx11
