Morning all.ย Our breakfast was the last of the enormous 3yo Christmas pudding (hm) with custard (from a packet)ย
ย ย I shall now declutter the large pudding bowl - I've decided that in future I shall only make smaller puddings, as they're easier to give away and less fattening for us
ย We shared out all the leftover food last night so everyone will be eating up the bits for a week! - and that was only from tea: we went out for lunch to a carvery, and there was nothing left on any of those plates except a few bits of meat which Rosie will enjoy over the next few days.
The DW has done its job and all the clean crockery and cutlery has been put away.ย I've tidied the LR and re-homed my Christmas presents, updated my calendar, washed the tablecloth and guest towels, and will put in one more WM load just to empty the washing baskets.ย That's the limit of my Flying for today.ย Once I've showered and dressedI will take Rosie out for a good walk to make up for the very short one she had yesterday, then I shall follow your advice Fayolle and take it easy for the rest of the day.
Lovely to see so many newbies and returning Flyladies on the thread

I need to consolidate al the presents in my stash and fling lots of things .
Still have a parcel to package and post but listed 1 item on ebeast.
I need to clear my little table too before i truly burn myself
ASB.. I hope your meds kick in quick and you feel better soon xxx

Hugs to all those feeling under the weather xxDaily stuff doneFor once this week, it is fine. warmish, dry, and a bit windy, so cat 2 and I have been out removing the weeds / dead flowers from the wild garden, then NND's cat comes to help as well,
which then involved both cats rolling around in the soil I had just raked out, took about 2 hours, more to do, but the green bin is very full, ie the lid won't shut.. I'll give it a day or so for that lot to died down, then do some bin jumping, they won't take the bin if the lid is not down!

Well I have managed to get a sheet and pillow cases dry enough on the line to iron, so yesterday's ironing has been put away and todays washing now ironed and airing on the maiden.
Some work jobs attended to.
Need to pop to vets for flea meds.

Prescription collected and first lot of meds taken. About to have a hot chocolate as I canโt swallow food and havenโt eaten all day.ย
My flylady cards have arrived today! I am looking forward to opening them later on when the children are in bed. As I confessed to our lovely Natty at the time, the BD was so firmly on me I couldnโt write any cards at all.
But I am very grateful to you all for taking the time to send them to me; youโre all never far from my thoughts xx

All the more reason to send them to you.. so you know we are thinking of you even when you are struggling to post much xx
DD2 sorted he mountains of stuff filling my understair cupboard so I now have some space to refill with lots of things and make some room in the middle room so Meem can sort her stuff some more. I will have something vaguely resembling a bit of floor eventually.
DS1 finally sent his pcr.. bit pointless really he has ben ill over a week already.. apparently it was someone snotting and coughing all over the Kings Cross train who likely infected him.. he moved ast her and she started crying saying she felt really ill so he hugged her and told her to go home.. he has been really poorly tbh seems to be on the mend now, he has started picking fault with everything and everyone..
Off to feed some gremlins and hang up the wet bedsheets.

Good evening ladies
I have just opened my cards - thank you so much, Iโve put them all up even though everything else is down, and they will bring me joy for days to come. Speaking of joy.... my knitted ear warmer headband... just THANK YOU. It will be worn every day whilst I am working outside and it is honestly the most thoughtful gift I have received this Christmas. I know we have many knitters in this merry band, so to whomever took the time to make it for me - THANK YOU XX
I am dosed up with medication and hoping for a good nights sleep. Tomorrow is a normal day and evening for us, we donโt โdoโ new year at all (Iโve always regarded the start of September as more of a new year than murky January). If I feel up to it we will finally leave the house for a decent walk. I also need to finalise my January meal plan, order chicken feed and chop up some pallets we were given.
Sleep well all xx
