Decision made, I have cancelled all the direct debits to the cards. Now just need to hope I don't end up in a coma, or something....😬
I cancelled my CC DD after having paid double once - I always am checking my budget anyway so I can’t see me or you missing a payment

well done on getting under 11 years and that interest earnt going up looks good
    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Thanks LaPlan 😀 I am seriously chuffed with the interest increase - nearly £900 a year more in my pocket for what was less than 20 minutes' effort on my part 👍👍👍

  • McMo has just finished, no point getting any steps in trawling the streets now 😁
I did get a few portions of fruit for free though and it kept us entertained for a while

Emails overnight from 4 of the credit cards (Halifax x2, Lloyds and MBNA, so they're all the same people), telling me I've cancelled my direct debit. It's almost as if they're jumpy about it 🤣!
