Just also thought that this may change again when we get to the new tax year, as I can pay new money into an ISA again then, so building up savings to pay the cards off with (and earn interest on in the meantime) will be more of an option again. Will see how I feel at the time 🤔!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

I know, crazy right 🤷♀️? I'd love to say it was all my own hard work, but 20 of them were the Govt bonus on the LISA, and there was a lot of interest (of course, I suppose it is my hard work in stashing the money away in in the first place, but I never feel as though I've earned it in the same way as with surveys etc when it arrives!)Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Glad to see the focus paying off. One of the things I am almost looking forward to when I finally get a mortgage is the little OPs and feeling like I am winning when I find a TTDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Is anyone else taking part in the Our Future Health project? I'm just back from my appointment - slightly perturbed that I weigh about 4lbs more than I thought I did (not been on the scales for a few months 😅), but other than that quite fun and I have my £10 voucher already 😀Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Oh, what a b*mmer! You should at least have got half the money for turning up and doing the rest of it! No such issue for me, fortunately. I have "good veins" apparently (which I guess just means quite visible 🤷♀️?)Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
