Those are fantastic numbers for the extra 50's and makes me realise I need to be better at tracking the extra money I "make".
OFH is great in principle but being a bit too close to it by working in the sector makes me a little apprehensive to join myself. But well done you on joining in.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20173 -

Think Sleeping Beauty rather than gentleman's appendage 🤣!🤣🤣🤣I was invited to OFH, but in the end decided that as a) getting blood from me has been rather dramatic in recent years the £10 wasn't worth it and b) I'm kind of good with not knowing about future health issues (!), I'd pass on this earning opportunity. To not get the money because they couldn't take the blood from you is taking the mick, I rather think - if it's meant to be compensation for your time, you've already given that!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

I have used my debit card not once, not twice, but thrice this evening! Once to make an S&S payment and twice to make minimum payments on the cards, as I have decided to pay those when the bills are generated rather than waiting for the direct debits to come out, so I've settled up what was due over the next few weeks. It makes no difference to the balances (except earning me less in interest as it's not sat in the savings account in the meantime, so I'm actually slightly worse off), but it feels so empowering 😀!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Evening all, what a glorious weekend 😀! An extra hour in bed, lovely weather, a couple of runs, a warm and beautiful home, bulk-buying for longer-term savings, to-do list cleared, a fried egg sandwich, some micro-payments off the credit cards….❤️
Seems a shame to ruin it by going back to work tomorrow, but c'est la vie!
