LOL 🤣
Just had the same daft survey again - except without that last question on it. I know people are silly about their phones, but when you ask a question like "Would you rather have the holiday of a lifetime, or a phone upgrade", surely everyone is going to go for the holiday??? And would I be late for a wedding because I was worried my phone would run out of charge? No, I would either take a charger with me and look for a plug socket at the reception venue, or (more likely) just run the risk of it running out. If I'm at a wedding, I'm probably not going to be doing anything which runs the battery down anyway!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

No, I would be enjoying the moment and congratulating the bride and groom! And probably minesweeping the empty tables for prosecco....😬
And on that note....
I am missing 2021 SC, who jettisoned UPF, drank loads less alcohol and lost 19lbs. 2024 SC just wants to drink Tia Maria and eat chocolate, which is not good 🙁Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

The LISA transfer has completed (definitely not going to hold back on these things in future, now I know how quickly it happens 👍). Had a jolly £468.90 of accrued interest added, which was nice. I think this one adds the interest monthly too, so that will be much more interesting for updating my figures every monthMortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Have been doing a lot of pondering and decided I'm not going to track the extra £50s any more after this month. The interest earnings skew the figures, and because a lot of it is in ISAs, it's not accessible and it's making a mess of my spreadsheeting (which will never do 😬).
I'm also actually really enjoying making lots of little payments off the cards (reminds me of chipping away at the mortgage - never thought I'd feel nostalgia for that 😳!), so from now on I'm going to make a payment whenever I have some money available. I'd use the 0% neutral savings to clear more for an extra thrill, but there is more due out each month in minimum payments than I'm putting in, so I need to be careful to leave myself a buffer to make sure I don't run out completely (and it is at least earning me interest in the meantime). I have removed the “My next £50” holding account from the display on my banking and I'm ready to get going!
