I found myself quite distracted by all the actors that had been in previous episodes/Vera/Lewis etc, so need to re-watch it now I have got that out of my system!

Sadly not a series though - this week is a Girls Aloud concert 🙄🤷‍♀️

We got distracted by identifying Nigel but Nicola McAuliffe as his mother was fun. I saw her play Portia in Merchant's Venice a good.... probably 20 years ago. Maybe more.

I watched it yesterday and remembered why I find it so distracting to watch as I recognise so many people and spend the whole episode trying to remember where I knew them from!

It was quite an involved episode this time.. so many different agendas going on there. Don’t know how anyone had the energy to still do a day job with all that going on!

Yes, I always need to re-watch the new ones a couple of weeks later these days, so that I can actually fully immerse myself in the plot 🤣!

I was sure Nigel had been in Endeavour, so I almost discounted him from my pondering, but when I actually looked him up after it had finished, I realised I actually remembered him from....Midsomer Murders 🤣🤣🤣

Oh wow! 🤣 I didn't get that far back in his imdb evidently. Got as far back as him being in _No Offence_ and figured that was where.

I can't find a photo, but he was one of the bent coppers in "Painted in Blood" - brilliant episode 😀!
