Thank you Mrs SD and weenancy.
We did have a few tests from the girls being at school but I've had to order 3 boxes as we had to test every day after DD tested positive, luckily the order was straight forward and no problems and delivered quickly. I know there was shortage last week so we did really well. DH ordered a pcr as has lf were all showing negative even though he was really ill, that came the following day, so can't fault them with the tests.
Living room currently has a collection of blankets and sleeping bags appeared, so I'm hoping tomorrow to at least get them away so we're not tempted to wrap up and stay there any longer.

Swallowed a frog and now have an uncluttered and dusted bottom shelf on my side table. All book marks put together, notebooks added to the stash, puzzle books now in magazine rack where I can get at them, and books stacked like with like. I have a lot of books on decluttering....somewhat ironically 🤣
Bye bye frog

Just finished reading everyone's posts.
Last year, I had two books that I started and didn't finish. I used to plough on but I don't bother anymore. Don't want to waste my time.Finished ready 3rd book so far this year, ready to go to aunt. Picked up one that she gave me, read first two chapters. Also, picked up another book, that I bought started this one as well. Older book I will commute with. Newer book, I'll read at home.Spent lovey day yesterday with friend, went for a walk and then she taught me how to crochet. Spent the evening crouching two animal legs. I enjoy frugal days with friends.Cooked half leg of lamb in slow cooker, placed veg in with some liquid. This will be used to make soup ( it is currently in the fridge, hope to remove fat off top tomorrow). We had 40% of the lamb for dinner today, 40% stirred in a rogan Josh curry sauce for tomorrow's dinner and the other 20% in the soup.

Hi Peeps,
all those unwell speedy recovery and don't forget the TLC carriage awaits.
@roundtuit love the MAD and small things definitely do
@princesskitty29 I haven't been where you are, especially where animals have taken you aback. As pup is small at the moment (can't remember what breed you got) perhaps you could take her on a "walk" and putting her in a shoulder bag where she could stick out her nose or head. (My grandma used to do this when she had a new West Highland pup when we were children and carried her round in her shopping bag until she was safe to be on the ground) I am aware there are dog slings you can use that is for the same purpose.((hugs for it to work for you))
@MrsSD DH does a good job at gardening especially in the summer time, he loves it. God knows what he was thinking that dayToo much about bike engines if you ask me
I keep practising the one touch method, it works most of the time. This does keep things down and things get into their own place a lot quicker than previously. This includes going straight in the appropriate bin. However the stuff that needs to go out isn't happening too well at the moment so I feel like I am not doing as well as I should. This requires a revisitAreas are definitely getting tidier and staying that way mostly.
I'm at work on a course for the next week (already done 2 weeks) am so glad we have to wear a mask all day as whilst I've been reading and catching up I have been sat here decluttering the fluff from my faceas not working in a mirror and using a manual tool spring thing there may be bald or fluff patches hanging about
Stay safe and keep warm

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 5 tasks.
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bedDinner was delicious 🤤 & the crackling was perfect 🙂 I have done the wudupa & have started a soup. DSis & I were watching Dancing on Ice but she kept dropping off & snoring so has gone for a nap. I will watch the end & see who gets sent home. Just an observation but Paul Gascogne looked terrible 😣 presumably he has been or is ill. I will go straight into cheerleading now.
Well said weenancyinAmerica 👏 As to your roommate, now that is what I call hoarding 😉 What an odd way to run the library book store 😬 A very good job that you are there saving all these books & making some money 👏 one medal 🏅 on its way 🙂
Excellent work Foofoopuppy 👏 Even though doing maintenance decluttering & cleaning you are still finding items to donate 🙂 Well done on the weight loss 👏 Fingers crossed that you can save enough monies to start your garden project 🤞
Excellent decluttering TC77 👏 Fingers crossed that you find somewhere to take the spectacles 🤞 - you would think it would be a nationwide thing for a national chain rather than just local 🤔 I have to say that there is something satisfying about burning rather than binning 😉 my inner pyromaniac wants to play 😉
Excellent work EnergyShifter 👏 Once our bedroom is finished I will be emulating you & doing a full Marie Kondo of my clothing & probably DH’s clothing as well 😉 Not sure there will be anything fit for the CS though ☹️ Fingers crossed for your cousin 🤞
Great work short_bird 👏 Congratulations on 15 NSDs 🥳 means nothing extra is coming in so technically you are decluttering 👏🙂
charlies_tribe, great news that you have had no problems getting tests delivered 🙂 DH could only get one box (7 tests) for 3 people - fat lot of use 😔Excellent work on dealing with a frog roundtuit 👏 I think I have 3 Decluttering Books - I really should read them 😉Gem-gem, you are putting me to shame as I haven’t read a single book this year 😔 You are definitely a Love Food, Hate Waste advocate 👏 What a lovely friend - teaching you to crochet ☺️ Sounds like the perfect day 🙂 Good decluttering as well 👏
Great work oceanspirit 👏
2Scratters, what a great idea re puppy ‘walking’ 👏 I think your DH & mine would get on like a house on fire 😉 I think you are being too hard on yourself after all you are mostly doing the one touch process & you have tidy areas that are staying tidy 👏 Keep up the good work 🙂Stay safe everyone 🙂MrsSD 🏅🏅🏅 🌟 ⭐️ ⭐️I AM A STAR 🌟

Morning all , woke up extremely early , well didn’t actually sleep much … my own fault I had a glass of ameretto and coke last night , to get rid of the last tiny bit from Christmas- the caffeine/sugar kept me awake … grrrr. Oh well it’s given me chance to read through everyone’s posts - so much inspiring decluttering!Love the idea of the touch once paper technique, and thanks for the tip off about specsavers recycling glasses.I hadn’t planned to do any decluttering over the weekend, but then we were tackling a DIY job which then lead to lots of decluttering. Completely emptied the under stairs cupboard, a friend was getting rid of wardrobe doors , so Steve used them to clad the walls in there , covering very dodgy plasterwork and lots of wiring, he also used it to put in shelving for me. I ventured into the loft to look for some leftover laminate flooring to use under the stairs and that sparked me sorting out a small section , whilst he was busy downstairs. So satisfying counting items of tat into a bin bag!I’ve rehomed some stuff from under the stairs like the hoover, and my handbag/ shopping bags (so I’ll be looking in the wrong place for days now 😂)
Some things are bagged up for the charity shop, some binned/recycled, and I have a box of leads to sort through. I am so excited about the result, this was a BIG frog that’s been needing doing ever since I’ve lived here really (25 years 😱🙄)
209-215 small offcuts laminate flooring
217 large cardboard tube- recycling
218 packaging - recycling
219-259 random loft tat - binned
261-263 table mats - CS
264 Prosecco - given to friend to say thanks for the wardrobe doors
265 egg holder -CS
266 patio swept
267 raised planter weeded
268 broken chicken food scoop - binned
269-300 random under the stairs tat - binned/recycled /CS
301 handbag
302 purse
303-305 old loyalty cards binned
Hope it’s ok for me to share a couple of photos… I’m just so excited, especially as the transformation didn’t cost us a penny 😆👍Word for 2023 …PROACTIVE 🧡 2023 -decluttering campaign 1020/2023 ⭐️⭐️Saving towards paying off car in November…£720/£1500 🚗22 -
