That's it all the Christmas presents are out of my house and delivered. I also found a home for 2 large bags of sawdust that are now surplus to requirements.#19 Make £2025 in 2025 £8.32/£2025"Remember not to do too many things at once" said me to herself.Mortgage Free Wannabe #25 2025 OP £500/£60009

Managed to get into the porch & remove the big tin trunk & its contents today. Most of the contents have gone straight into a bin-bag & will be off to the Tip ASAP, but a few particularly nice bits - complete with happy memories - will be washed & popped into the "Granny Box" for future reference. The trunk itself is actually far too big for what I thought I could use it for, so I've listed it on FB Marketplace at what I know to be a low price for something of that sort; at the end of the day, if it hasn't sold in a couple of days, I'll Freecycle it. If I do sell it, the money will be spent on a similar but smaller version from the recycling warehouse; they always have plenty of them.
You can actually see the porch floor in places now...Angie - GC Jul 25: £225.85/£500 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)9 -

Spent most of the day cleaning the lodger room which has been empty since my last (lovely) one left before Xmas. New one arriving tomorrow, this ones a friend of a friend and only wants to be here for a few weeks which should be OK. The room was fine really but I've slipped back into using it to dump stuff so gave it a good turn out ready. I prefer being on my own really but the money's handy. Anyway decluttering wise I cleared a box of empty jars which Id been hoping to use for something or other but they're in the recycling bin now as I got tired of looking at them. I think thats enough for today. 14 items so far this year.Magnolia Stellata10

One set of bowls sold after long time listing things on fleabay last weekend, never sure if efforts are worth it. Happy for clothes to go to.CS and itching to do that yesterday. Pink storage box into CS and another item I've forgotten.
I maybe the only one bringing stuff in but have found 2 fab thin ladderback chairs which need seats making ( have fabric and will go back to my upholstery classes ,- 18 years later, and at my dads , great CSs bought 2 brand new scarves and some cards formbdaus pressies. Looking out stuff at his for CS.
Do have list of things to get rid of at home so hopefully 2 out 1 in the house.

TC77 sorry to hear that your tax bill is high ☹️ Great work on finding someone to take the office chair arms 👏2Scratters you can make good use of The TLC Carriage - it’s restorative powers are legendary 🙂 I also loved TC77’s little sachets of TLC ☺️ Well done DH for getting freezer contents down 👏 but he is obviously more suited as a chef than a gardener 😉Quite agree -taff dealing with paperwork can be disheartening so sorting out other decluttering that gives OWD_nana a boost is the way to go 👏 Excellent decluttering of cleaning tasks -taff 👏TC77 what is ‘spring cleaning’? 🙃
