Phew. Just caught up. Had a rest in the TLC carriage yesterday, ALL DAY. Didn't even go out the front door. I needed it so no guilt and seeing as the lounge is decluttered and tidy; no guilt 

So just one more bag to report. Filled with fabric and wool for a friend for a project.

Able to walk into spare room and see floor now. A win with storage of gift wrap and gift bags as I found  a pefectly sized cardboard box for under bed storage. It is all in one place now too.

Today is the CS so taking a bag but not counting until actually there.

I haven't fallen off the EDT- on work days it's pretty much work, eat, sleep, repeat but I have kept the daily recycling going out of the door, and dealt with the post as it arrived- oh and filed receipts before they had a chance to land on a horizontal surface. And I've been reading along and cheering you on.  

Emptied the bins- living room and kitchen- this morning. I've WULTD- so weird only having one bowl of dirty pots to sort. I'll DUPA after I've had my coffee.
Filled the tea bag jar and packaging binned. 

🐸 for this weekend is: sort the books on the bottom shelf of the table next to my chair. 

And when I filed the rent statement I removed statements for y/e 31.3.21 and added them to my shredding pile.

Baby steps but they add up and MAD.

Yikes, I did a long post yesterday but it has vanished into the ether 😖 I now need to back track re medals etc. So pen & paper need to come into play 😔

Hi all, I am well and truly in the quiet carriage at the moment. We picked up a puppy last weekend and although we got ourselves as prepared as we could nothing could prepare me for how I'd feel afterwards, unfortunately I've had a bad week and feel how I did when I had PND after my first son was born. I can't believe getting a puppy has brought up these overwhelming feelings again, I never thought I would feel like this ever again and I'm struggling to do normal daily tasks. It doesn't help that we can't take her out for a walk for another 11 days. I'm trying to take each day as it comes, she is a lovely thing really so I'm just trying to have faith that one day it will get better and I'll fall in love with her. I'd never heard of the puppy blues before but I definitely know what they are now!

I definitely still have grand plans for declutting when I have the energy and mind space to focus on it again, so will keep checking in for motivation! I'm sorry I haven't had chance to catch up so I hope everyone is well.

Firstly, I'm sorry that you're feeling low, princesskitty29.  Have a hug and a nice warm freshly baked scone with a cup of tea, they're waiting for you the TLC carriage.  There's a plate of them in the kitchen with some fresh tea in case anyone else would like one, home made strawberry jam as well.

I've decided to concentrate my efforts of getting my "office" tidy and as paper-free as possible, and my computer as free from detritus as possible, so my list is pretty boring at the moment.  I'll move onto the rest of the things on my list when I've finished this room.  Below is my list from the past few days:

99-101. Three ood  food jars contents binned and jars recycled

@princesskitty29 pups are babies too and just as much of a dependent and a responsibility so it’s completely understandable if you’re feeling blue.

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 5 tasks.
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed

I will try to catch up 😉
Friday stayed dull & cold. I managed 3 more small financial tasks. Dinner was hm mushroom risotto with plenty left for Saturday - risotto cakes & fried chicken pieces. Wudupa.
Saturday is overcast & dull but slightly warmer. Two tasks completed - 2 kitchen drawers cleaned & sorted - plastic forks & elastic bands binned, coffee table cleared, dusted & most of DSis’s paperwork filed appropriately.

117 - 125 Kitchen recycling, glass wine bottle, 3 newspapers, 2 magazines, envelopes & scrap paper, cardboard packaging - recycled 
126 - 127 Kitchen detritus, plastic packaging - binned

Now will try to backtrack my cheerleading - will be shorter comments 😔

Re the candle holders: I'm teaching my daughters that the statement 'I got that from X' is not enough reason to keep something around. As soon as that changes to 'I got that from X and it makes me feel happy inside / I use it' it's fine to keep. So, the candle holders are from your wedding, they make you happy, and you use them; they are fine to keep, just maybe not all of them ” Such a good idea has earned you a Gold Star ⭐️ thank you for sharing 👏

Well said OWD_nana 🙂 Hopefully wort will let us know how long it has taken to get to maintenance decluttering 🤞it will give us all hope that if we stick at it we will be living in a clutter free home - at some time 🤞😉 As to your paperwork, my thought is to do other decluttering where you will see results & then maybe 30 minute sessions on the paperwork. Otherwise you might get too disheartened 😔☹️ Excellent decluttering 👏 and because you are 144/500 there is a Gold Star ⭐️ on its way 🙂

Good decluttering stellata 👏 I do like the sleeves kept as leg warmers 🙂 It is a worry re fuel price rises - the world seems to have gone mad 😔

Today we have been in the shed sorting and shuffling. Not a leaving but we have had a look and anything leaving is better than nothing. 

That said;

Christmas bits are being rehomed to a friend to makes Christmas wreaths

a couple of Lego mini figures to a little Lego fan and a tool for splitting resistant bricks to his mum to save her nails

piggy bank to charity

couple of cardboard boxes into recycling


We also decided that we need to move some of the plants around in the front garden as the current arrangement just isn’t working anymore. A quick audit of the plants in the back garden done and some of them can move to the front. A few are in terracotta pots that are on their last legs after frost damage so that will declutter them (well they’ll carry on being useful but as crocks in other pots).

Decluttered two money off coupons that have sat in the fruit bowl for a few weeks.
if you use money off coupons at the self service till at Tescico they don’t even need to be scanned for the product they are for, today I got £7.00 of treats and nice bits for granddaughter for £4, the first scanned but then the 2nd needed strobe approval, no checks done to see if I’d bought what the coupon was selling, it’s a handy little trick to have in you’re arsenal 💅🏻

Did a quick visit to another carriage today and went to my daughters to help her decluttering for a few hours. She provided the buffet trolley so made a nice change back in my own carriage tomorrow spurred on to keep going.
