@donna73 great pictures - I like to go back and admire my successes.
186 - another sort out of postcard collection - lots got rid of and sorted into different categories. Found better storage box to use just lying around house empty.
187 Another kitchen drawer sorted and cleaned when emptying dishwasher. Tatty teacloth binned, crumbs and bits swept out and wiped down with damp cloth. I did the whole kitchen thoroughly last year so trying for maintenance clean/tidy one drawer/cupboard at a time.
A number of small frogs have crept into my in box overnight so they are my next job today.2025 Decluttering Campaign 665/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

@donna73 - it's true too. One shelf full of piles of teetering and teetered piles of books and random gibble is now 2 very much smaller, and therefore stable, piles of books. My bookmarks are together, my puzzle books are getatable and all my notebooks are together. Note to self: you have enough empty notebooks don't buy any more! And it was done bit by bit during the advert breaks- granted Miss Marple was on from 8 til 11.20 = lots and lots of adverts, but one touch and like with like and voilà it's done.
Amazing transformation of your under stairs space - I'd be smiling at it every time I looked at it.
Great name by the way- all the best people are called Donna in RL 😉

TC77 said:Brought 3 books from my Dad's but organised some of his books to pass on sometime, took some bulldog clips to him at the home to organise his appt letters. Threw out a few things at his and got specsavers to check prescriptions so know which of his glasses can be donated. Interested some of you have specsavers taking these, mine and his don't so looking for somewhere for them. I have pairs to pass on too.
4 bowls and packaging - all labelled
Laundry basked picked up
Finding the hassle of wrapping things to post abit of hassle if for limited pennies so using free sites, and remembered our local donation hub (for refugees/asylum seekers and people facing homelessness) is collecting suitcases and backpacks so going to pass at least one on, and maybe find things to go in it.
2 items from the other day in CS bag 205
items above now 2011
Been listening/watching podcasts/you tube on the link between stress, clutter and being overweight/emotional eating - all apply to me, helped me focus that it is up to me to change things and can't change past, need to make space for new.
Have letters/cards and stuff from relationships which when I get to them (could be next year at current rate) I will burn/bin - not as if they were so amazingly successful , rather focus on my current life.
Inspired by everyone here..
Sorry to hear about those poorly and wishing speedy recovery, and hope people have managed self care and spent at least some time in the TLC carriage x
Try Vision Express and Boots Opticians as the ones near me both take unwanted glasses

188 March holiday details agreed with DD from a list she sent
189 Papers checked and agreed for one of my local history group
190 Decided I don't need to do anything with SKY email so filed it and will hope for the best
191 Lists updated and shared for another group I volunteer for
192 Renewal found in junk mail for yet another group - done online
193 Cancelled BG contract - whoopee
194 Letter of condolence written - only became aware in Christmas card of death
195 Email response to ex work colleague - been sitting in in box since before Christmas
196 YS turkey joint did dinner for 6 yesterday, cold slices to have today and three pots of diced turkey put in stock and frozen. That's pretty good for £4.

@donna73 love the under stairs , years ago I persuaded hubby to add a couple of shelves to side wall and I have big plastic tubs with pillows for different seasons in!! 😂 but like the metal shelf you have may do a rethink.
Decided to order a pack of 3 vests, I wear them in summer under my uniform. I use big thick thermal long sleeves in winter!!
So I have thrown away 6 old threadbare vests and 3 bras and a pair of socks whilst in the drawers. Also 1 of dgsons hoodie and jog bottoms.
Well done energyshifter that sounded a mammoth task but really the best way to really appreciate how much you have.😉👍Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.12 -
Hugs and healthy vibes to all who need them.
Wow, fab understairs makeover @donna73. We redid ours a few years back, but turned it into a downstairs loo. We had to extend into the kitchen to make enough space but that was ok as we were doing the kitchen anyway.
Had a good day yesterday. A bag of paper recycling to the lady over the road who gives it the scouts. A big pile of cherry wood including 12 homemade stakes (very therapeutic making points with a billhook). They are in the car ready to go to the allotment so not counting until they are there.
I made my list for this week of things to do. The most urgent is the tax return. I gave up my side business when I had cancer and never went back to it. I need to sort that one out but it says on the website i have to do it in April. Yay to no more tax returns though

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 5 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Monday is yet another overcast & very cold 🥶 I have been up over 2 hours trying to psych myself up to go out to the CS to drop off the wrapping I sorted out last week 😔 Meanwhile I have done absolutely nothing 😞 so straight into cheerleading 😉
You might not have slept donna73 but at least you recycled a bottle 😉 DIY jobs quite often lead to a decluttering session so absolutely excellent work 👏 Your understairs cupboard looks marvellous & very classy 🥳 You not only helped your friend declutter but you also repurposed some very smart looking wardrobe doors, decluttered stuff from the attic & presumably from the kitchen judging by what is on the shelves 👏 When you & Steve deal with a frog you really Deal with a Frog - One Gold Star ⭐️ on its way. Are you sure Steve isn’t Rob (Sort Your Life Out) in disguise? 😉
Great work GrannyKate 👏 Good luck with the frogs 🍀
It is a great quote roundtuit & you are proving how successful it can be 👏
Thanks for the info mamashaz 👏
Great work Siebrie 👏
Excellent decluttering of frogs, GrannyKate 👏 You have definitely been busy 👏
wort, Several of us seem to be rather lucky with our DHs/OHs/partners - they seem to be dab hands at DIY 🙂👏 Great clothing decluttering 👏
bit_by_bit, another one with a DIYer in the house & you are obviously a dab hand as well 👏 Just looked up billhook - a lethal bit of kit 😉 I am too clumsy to go anywhere near one 😬 Yippee to last tax return 🥳
Right, coffee almost finished & shoes on so will head off to CS in a few more minutes - inspired by all you lovely fellow declutterers 🙂MrsSD 🏅🏅🏅 🌟 ⭐️ ⭐️I AM A STAR 🌟
