Thankyou for the hug and kind words MrsSD
Lots going on on the thread, but slower at home. Went ot the allotment and looked it yesterday. Took DD to get DH present and sat on the couch to finish off more blankets.
Four more done so 8/52 crafts so far. These are easy wins so progress will slow down soon.
My next thing to do is to sew the crochet double blanket I made several years ago back together. I can't remember why I took it to bits in the first place but I would like to to be finished before she leaves home.
I have been to the allotment today and did about an hour of tidying and digging plus picked up seed potatoes ready for chitting plus some onion sets.Wife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor. Hello everyone
I'm amazed at the progress everyone's making, we'll be so organised by the end of the year. Mrs SD, I really don't know how you keep with everyone's posts and make such lovely comments to them all. I take my hat off to you and, if I knew how, I'd give you a gold star as well.
Today's offering is below, but I'm quite proud of myself for getting rid of another frog today. A jacket has been hanging up since 2020 needing a button replaced, it's now got a full compliment of buttons, yay! I might actually wear it now ....61. One book read (3/170)
62. Three books to charity shop bag
63. Filing done
64. Button replaced on jacket
65. 2000 emails deleted
Keep up the good work and (hugs) to anyone feeling under the weather or who needs one.

Evening all.
Progress here, but not my efforts. OH has sorted through his chest of drawers and ottoman, so a pile of unwanted clothes has appeared. I have sorted it all between charity shop and textile recycling ready to go in car boot. He went through his CDs and DVDs too, so about 20 of those to go to charity shop.

Finally took the Xmas decorations down, and in doing so also had a bit of a sort out as we have to pack away half our flat to put the Xmas decs out, and then unpack it all when we put them away again. We now have three full bags, an old panier and a wok to go to the charity shop tomorrow :-) Adios!
And binned:- 2 very sad looking Christmas crackers from 2020
- Christmas gift wrap scraps (recycled)
- weird dinosaur ornament thing that came out of an egg-shaped candle when you melted it
- 1 x mug that had a broken handle - I was using it for pens as the mug was cute, but swapped pens to a non-broken mug, which frees up 1 mug space in the mug cupboard. Really need to get rid of more mugs....
- A broken fake succulent
A lot more to do, but a good start to the year- feeling lighter already!

Hi ValentinoRossi Welcome and also Welcome to any one I may have missed.
I have been awol for a couple of days. I have the cold from Hell. I used a box of tissues this afternoon. I barely have a voice and am coughing like I smoke 60 Capstan Full Strength a day. My symptoms were all of omicom symptoms but I have had 2 clear lateral flow tests. I have done very, very little. I had a bath today and then had to lie down for the afternoon! I managed to lie on the sofa and cut up some spuds n carrots to make corned beef hash for Mr V's dinner. Sum total of my activity today.
GeorginaCavendish, I love your name. I am reputed to be a descendant of Dorothy Vernon of Haddon Hall. Me and several thousand other people no doubt.
Energy Shifter you are certainly having a good MOT with all your appointments. I am evangelical about mammogram appointments. My cancer was detected on my very first one. I would never have found it myself at such an early stage as it was very deep against my rib cage. Dr said it was already 2 years old when detected. Btw you imagine you are feeling for a lump like a pebble. When i knew where mine was and how hard I had to press to feel it.it was like a knobbly cocktail sausage.I

I am hoping to feel a bit better tomorrow and be able to do something. Reading everyone's achievements makes me want to join in.

Get well wishes, vulpix.
Another 13 items today. I wasn’t supposed to be decluttering but there wasn’t enough energy for anything else so it seemed the best option.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅12
