Morning all xx
I'm in the TLC carriage with a brew if anyone would like to join me ☕
It'll be baby steps while I sort out my head. I'm not giving up though. If I can remove one thing a day it's still progress.
Big hugs
Rxx

Someone has alerted me to the youtube films of Hamimommy and Minimalist Paik; I'm not sure whether I admire them for their ingenuity or if they annoy me with their perfection

DS' birthday today - he's still sleeping. We are not 100% sure of what we will be doing but think it will involve getting the Thames Clipper into Town and a nice meal. As long as he's happy with what we do that's the main thing. I have spent the morning thinking back to his last birthday - I am so grateful how well his recovery has gone. 🙏
928. Repainted dresser
929. Vinyl bits
930. Red mohair jumper - shrunk in wash
931. Another side-plate broken - 3rd one this month !! I'm not going to replace this one - I've got some sturdier ones in the loft. (These are not in theory particularly delicate so clearly something is not right with them ).
TC77 - That charity sounds amazing - I'd love to know what you find out about them & hope they can help.
Siebre - I will check out those YouTubers - I could do with some renewed motivation.
Roundtoit & any others in the TLC Carriage - Rest up & recharge

Think I'll be joining you in the TLC carriage, got a cold and working from the sofa whilst watching the footie. Also ploughing through the laundry pile, currently on line, the racks with dehumidifier going and in the drier. I might cry when the bill comes in! But stressing me out having it everywhere and I just want to get on top of the house again and have it tidy.
Still have a chest of drawers to destroy and take to tip along with the other ones. Plus the new drawers to build. OH is happy to do that.
I have decluttered 4 days leave next week to get on top of things, declutter, take stuff to charities or sell/give away and finish Xmas shopping and wrap presents.11 -
@EnergyShifter hope you ds has a lovely birthday and so good to have seen his recovery.
Feels really weird going out for the day and not working. Sent some emails early but not looking, have my out of office on and work phone left behind!11 -
Things very slow here. I do like teal as well @energyshifter - I have several walls and accessories in that colour. Cool paint job.
DGS4 poorly today so on my settee - a bad cold and sore throat - lots about.

Like others I feel totally overrun with washing and worried about using tumble dryer. I have put airer in room with dehumidifier a couple of times but it's supposed to be there to dry out walls.2025 Decluttering Campaign 635/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Afternoon all. Love the dresser @EnergyShifter 😍 - you've inspired me to try and organise our dining room cupboards a bit better so they look slightly more aesthetically pleasing and not just functional. I'm not a teal fan like you but I do love a bit of mustard yellow.
Thanks for the recommendations @Siebrie, I watch a few youtubers who are very similar and have seen some of Hamimommy's videos before. I find them very soothing and relaxing, all the while wishing I could live in their homes.
Hugs to those in the TLC carriage - I'm feeling sorry for myself today as have come down with a cold and cough so will try and keep my distance from people.
Washing machine has finally been fixed - turns out the culprit was a rogue hair tie that got caught up in our spare bedding when my friend stayed for the weekend. It got caught around the filter and stopped the machine pumping out. I also threw a Dr Beckman cleaner in there and there was SO. MUCH. LIMESCALE. that came out, even though we use the knock off calgon with every single wash 😔 Will just have to chuck a service wash thing in there every month now I guess. Still at least we didn't have to replace the machine (or call someone out!)Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 201712 -
