Lovely knitting @EnergyShifter
So I haven't been back for a fewdays. I have been super tired since my holiday not helped by falling back into bad habits e.g. watching netflx until stupid o'clock. I am giving myself an 11.30 bed time curfew as I am doing more childcare (two proper days a week) and need the energy.
Decluttering. I am back to doing bit by bit clearance. Yeasterday I took the last 3 items back to the charity shop. These are their props for Christmas e.g. big trees that light up.
I have cleaned the bathroom since coming back home and part of the 'fridge. Need to do the doors.
Right. Off for a shower and childcare. I hope to get the GS 3 off to the park before it rains.Wife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor. Morning all xx
I'm struggling a bit with my mental health so I'm self certing sick from work this week ... in the hope that I can turn myself round. I would love to retire from work completely but that's not realistic. Heyho.
Navel gazing and pity party for one are not on the agenda.
I've set myself a few targets for the day: get dressed being the first one.
I've made a start on the shelf under the cupboard:
Birthday gift tags - put in an envelope & put envelope in birthday card box (then they'll be to hand when I'm writing cards / wrapping presents 🎁)
2 parts of small notebooks - take to work to use up
5 small notebooks - cs
1 small notebook - put in cupboard
That's a start.
I'm going to get dressed now.
Have a good day

Next target is more flying than decluttering but it will clear space in the kitchen, so maybe it counts?
Target: WUDUPA all pots and pans.

@roundtuit Your brain has had to make many choices the last few weeks, no wonder it needs a rest to recuperate and adjust to the new situation in your home. Take care!

*sneaks in and hides at the back*...hello?
Can't remember the last time I checked in here this year (it was over 2,000 posts ago though!) but thought I'd try and make an effort as we move towards the end of the year and look ahead to the new one coming.
I've managed to hit my target of at least 365 items out of the home this year and things are definitely feeling lighter, but I still think there's a lot to do next year. Will try and post a bit more frequently now over the next few weeks but hope that you're all doing as well as can be.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20179 -
Sadly today I've realised we've decluttered Steve wrights afternoon show
I've been keeping tuning in each week at some point but as soon as I realise its not him, radio goes back to classic fm. I thought he was on a long holiday but today thought its been about 6 or 7 weeks which is exceptionally long for him, must be unwell. After checking the good old interweb today I see he left end of September - time flies. Apparently it was announced in July he was leaving but I never heard a thing! Sad as I doubt many weeks have gone by since 1981 where I haven't tuned in at least once. Gervais, the filleting fish song, Mr Angry, ask Elvis, Donald Trump (who i assumed was a very exaggerated impression until one day I heard the real one speak!!!!) and all the others. Latterly I couldn't be bothered with a lot of the music but still tuned in for the chat. So radio 2 joins radio 1 as stations that won't be heard in the daisy household any more, relegated to the past with my youth and 2 o clock won't be the same again, no dah dah dahdah intro.

That's 2 frogs dealt with today. Hmmm money declutter too. Feels so much better.
Bits of paperwork sorted and ready for the fire. Filing tidied away.
A couple of sales things have gone out and a couple of sales have been rescinded - very frustrating. Got some more pictures ready for listing, need to keep this moss ball rolling.
The ironing pile has reduced a bit probably by sorting what does and doesn't actually need ironing.
Decluttering slowly the balls of wool that have been donated to me. Blankets have grown quite well and doing a good job of keeping me warm in the progressuntil I need to give them away.
1 bank account getting ready (decluttering the piggy banks) to close and move hopeful to make some money from it too.
Hope everyone's week is going OK
2 Scratters xx
