1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Declutter/Relocate one item every time I stand up.
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
DH had a bout of activity - started emptying his office (with a bit of assistance from me) in order to lay new carpet tiles. Dinner was the 2nd half of last night’s takeaways. Wudupa. I have added anotherGold Star ⭐️ as I have reached 3/4 of my target 🙂
1527 - 1539 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, 5 foil trays, 2 plastic takeaway boxes, cardboard box, plastic jar, cardboard packaging, plastic carton - recycled
1540 Kitchen detritus - binned
Hopefully your mood will settle on high, EnergyShifter 🤞 Excellent decluttering 👏 How lovely that you were able to assist your niece in preparing her presentation. When I was at school we didn’t have to do any presentations to become class captain or vice captain - girls were nominated & seconded then voted for. I was fortunate enough to be a class captain 3 times & a vice captain once but if I had been required to do a presentation I wouldn’t have ever been elected 😉
Lovely supportive post vulpix 🙂 Really not surprised that you you have reached the end of your tolerance for renovations - 8 months is a long time 😬 The culvert upgrade is a bit of a nuisance - 2 weeks of no cars or deliveries & probably lots of noise 😔 Keeping my fingers crossed that the weather stays fine so that you can enjoy working in your garden 🤞 Yippee to MrV allowing you to have a garden shed of your own 🤣
Excellent decluttering EnergyShifter 👏 I think if my television wasn’t working I would have read a book 😂
Lovely to see you shabbychic12 👋 Regardless of the speed of decluttering, you are still decluttering 👏 Contemplating a house move, how exciting 😁

Made $327 in library book sale - we also sold several toys and puzzles. But somehow hurt my neck so can't lean my head back and having to use a straw in canned drinks. Am clearing area in living room as will be moving furniture around in the next two weeks. Low table for in front of the sofa has been under dining room table awaiting the move. I need to have help moving an armchair to where the love seat was. Since roommate piled things on one end of the loveseat, only one person could use it anyway. Then desk is moving from middle of room to where the green chair is now and will become my "office" - a desk I can actually write on. Trying to write a book without table space has been very frustrating (to say the least - some days have me swearing up a storm).
Then low table will go where desk is now - and we will be able to see the TV from the sofa. After we repair the sofa's webbing, we will increase the seating space in the room. So going to be doing a lot of cleaning in that room. Trying to have it done by the end of the month.
Then need to start on cleaning bedroom more than I have. Getting presents for the holidays (including five birthdays in December) into packaging ready to go will help a lot as this is my major clutter problem in there (not counting books). I have another three-shelf bookcase to go in there which will let me get many of the books out of the way. Seeing others making progress has really helped keep me motivated. I thank all of you, especially Mrs. S_D.
The service on Monday comes on at 3:30 am - my roommate and I plan to be up and watching. We have been following the news broadcasts every day. All of the McDonalds are closing for the day too.

Hoping to hear from insurance company on Tuesday and get the ball rolling. I can now smell damp as the airing cupboard dries out. Mrs SD - Both GS3 and I have birthdays either side of the weekend so joint celebration last Thursday. My birthday tomorrow will be surreal. Not much done really - sympathies to @WeenancyinAmerica as I too have a pain in neck and head on one side. Not sure where it came from but really sore all day yesterday - not so bad this morning unless I turn my head suddenly.
1096 - thrown some home made face masks away - I wonder if we'll ever get rid of all of them
1097 - random sets off instructions for covid tests loitering in bathroom cabinet have been recycled
Went out yesterday and managed to go the wrong way or get in the wrong lane at least three times. A few simple errands took twice as long as they should and I probably used double the petrol I should have. It must be my age.2025 Decluttering Campaign 635/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Just had a quick scan. I am amazed at how people keep going against the odds on here. Big hugs to those who are hurting or having those up and down feeling that has been common that has been commonly expressed on here of late.
I have been kept busy with RL. MiL has given up her driving licence and so we are going to be regular shopping partners. We did a tour on Friday to the allotment for fresh food, Cxstxo and the supermarket. MiL has never been great with money and never budgets or meal plans. She shops virtually every day. I hope she will learn some tricks from me as my food bill for two people is under half of hers.
MiL is frugal in many other ways but food isn't one of them.
Saturday was care of GS No 4 and his a step GD plus we visited GD no 2 who was 9. After dropping them off a qhick drop in at home then to the CS. I haven't been working there regularly for months now but have a good stint between holidays.
Today I am not rushing around as tired. Will do a bit of tidying though as the down stairs is looking great apart fron the dining room which is a mess. I would like to sort that out by tonight so I have a clean start on Monday.

I wonder if the change in season has any relevance to mood. I am sure QE11 death will be affecting people too. Not many of us may have known her personally but she was a constant in our lives. I am grateful for her service to the country and the fact that she was a non political head of state.Floriana I am with you sister about having people in the house. Mind you I could do with the number of a decent decorator. Does he travel? We have had a lazy day so far. We will nip out for cat food and cable ties. In a forest of cable ties we apparently don’t have the right size!
Out 5 pairs of pants and some past it socks. Also an old car battery.Years ago my school hosted some head teachers from a couple of African countries. I invited them to my house to watch the football on telly, it was possibly the World Cup,can’t remember. I was at the time a very broke single Mum struggling on a teaching assistants salary (no help from Dad) to pay the mortgage and run an old banger of a car. The people were truly amazed at my luxury life and house! Even as Head teachers their lot was so different to mine. It boggles my mind that I can get rid of so much “stuff “ and still have more than many people will ever have.Don’t know where that gem came from. As I have said before I obviously don’t have enough to think about!

Apologies if this is a repost! Feel a bit cheeky popping in as I'm not in the challenge but recently joined the MSE forums and wanted to share.

I'm really pleased with myself today, in spite of continuing to be quite up & down in mood I've managed to get up for the 8am service in church, did my invoicing, did some decluttering AND went to the gym this afternoon. It was a very gentle session at the gym but it really did perk me up.
