3924-3948: Items to rubbish, seem to have found a cache of used disposable masks.
3949: 50 emails deleted
3950-3952: items escorted to downstairs bin.
Hurrah! New computer arrived and installed: unfortunately, a socket on the printer got its prongs bent so that's off for repair.
And the robot vacuum - Rover - is now making its way round the edges of the living room.

@EnergyShifter glad you had some downtime, must have been a shock ds dad springing his trip on you.
@Siebrie hope you get decorating done, hope arrangements wirh OH go smoothly as I think you've has this view for some time..
Decorating seems to be ok, and tolerating this decorator in my home better than some.
Bag to cs yesterday and bag of towels to cat rescue today, a few frogs done - trying really hard. But having to move things around for decorator makes house even messier than usual !9 -
Also remember deleting emails and photos off phone and WhatsApp. Going 5o try and be more methodical9

I've been lurking, but not posting because I didn't think I had anything of use or interest to say really. A lot's been happening behind the scenes and I've managed to dig a tunnel through the clutter - so I'm back!Briefly. As you may recall, DD was in London but applying for jobs. She's got a very good job in Edinburgh - better paid, interesting and using all her skills. Also nearer to most of her friends and closer for visits, especially now she's got her own space! Mum's Removals required to move stuff up from London to (mostly) Aberdeen while she rented one place, then across Edinburgh when she moved to a rented flat on her own.Decluttering-wise... I've collated most of her stuff into one place and we insisted on dropping most of the London stuff at her dad's until she finally buys and it all moves. Yes, yes, YES! (Insert partying and cheerleading emojis
) I did al little of my own decluttering as I went along.
What else? I somehow got Covid - both offspring fighting to take the blame. Not good, but not as ill as after the injections! Really tired and depleted, though.Got a temp job, so not much done, but it paid for a holiday in Croatia. Restful, weather fantastic and cheap once we got there. The sun etc helped, but I must get properly fit. I've been saying I should for years, but this time I'm determined it'll happen!Allotment coming along slowly, like everything else. Most of my energy's either been directed to that or trying to sort stuff for winterI have been following everybody's ups and downs and am sending hugs and strength for the downs and party poppers and balloons for ups. Keep on keeping on. Sometimes it isn't only 'stuff' that we need to declutter...A budget is like a speed sign - a LIMIT not a TARGET!!

Morning All, gorgeous blue skies here, washing on line and still rocking shorts and sandals, though I do have a sweatshirt on.
My first child free day off in 7 weeks and I feel a bit lost as on my own. I will attempt some housework, declutter a bag to the charity shop of children's clothes that are not my Dd's style.
At the weekend we decluttered garden 2 benches and a table that OH had made out of pallets years ago but were rotten! Replaced with 2 bistro style furniture sets that can be folded and stored in shed in winter.
Work situation is a bit better, the situation got addressed and flagged to higher management whilst I was on leave. The perpetrator has not apologised to me or taken ownership but apparently is looking for a new job.
I'm a great believer in everything happens for a reason and karma. So will await what the next few weeks bring.

Oh my goodness I have more than 200 posts to catch up on😱....will do that this afternoon. Had a lovely break in the Cairngorms and the weather was very kind to us. When you are away from home with just one case full of "stuff" it makes you realise how little you really need.
Got rid of 10 plus old magazines yesterday and today I have tackled the trailer in the garage. This will give me loads of extra space in the garage if I sell it. I was in two minds as it would be so useful for helping the children move house. However just trying to move it to take the photos really hurt my back so it is the right decision.🤞 it sells.
Enough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D8 -
Thanks @vulpix. I am looking forward to seeing the imrovements on my next visit
Hugs to @Deni_debt-free_dreamer and @EnergyShifter.
@basketcase . I am with you on the energy levels.
I rested a lot yesterday but still managed to get to the allotment and do a bit of digging and weeding. The digging was easy. I just moved soil from a raised bed to cover up my winter spuds which are already showing though.
My feeling is that until I am fitter Wednesday will be a bit of a rest day as Tuesday is childcare.
Today I have more energy and a long list of jobs. I am spending 10 minutes max on most of them and resting in between. Its got to be done. I am so grateful that I am not working now so can take my time.
Have a good day all

Blinking heck basketcase, What a busy summer you have had. It’s a beautiful day here too Fizz. Thank goodness things have improved with your work and you got it done without even being there! What goes around, comes around. X
Teacher girl, right decision about the trailer. Someone else can store and maintain it. If needed you can always hire a van for removals. It’s not as expensive as I expected when we hired one for one of the kids moves and when I bought bedroom furniture from fb.Today I am home alone. Bliss. No workmens radios, no cement mixer, no having to make endless cups of tea. I intended to knock spots off today and clean the house and finish painting the sheds. Nooooooooo I am decompressing. There is washing on the line. That’s enough for today. I will potter and tidy up. There is stuff everywhere in the kitchen from looking in the pantry of doom for various diy stuff.DSS left yesterday with about 10 large plastic crates that we bought when Mr V moved to live with me. Out a car battery a broken torch and a solar garden ornament that wasn’t even mine! Lot of diy supplies have been used up. It feels good.Vx:9 -
Hi to all those who feel they have nothing to report. A declutter of saying Hi is a declutter too, it's not all about the physical. We all end up with periods of that and that it is OK just to do just that. Off loading thoughts and worries can be shared here too.
I have elderly parents who are moving from their home of 60years+. I am not involved with any of it as I chose to stay away from my mother due to her negativity draining me. I needed to survive. Last spoke to her 12yrs ago when I informed her of 1st and only GGD. (2 boys since) that was my last olive branch. Things are what they are. I am however supporting my youngest sibling (from a distance & we get together periodically too, we have a good relationship) whilst she helps the other 2 siblings get them sorted. I have no intention of being a hypocrite even now. Sorry if that offends anyone or are not able to understand, it's life.
