I think you should frame it. I saw someone mending their car today and thought how few things moat people are capable of mending whereas most people used to repair alot more things themselves. Though a friend whose dad worked for the coal board said things went off to 'the pit' to get mended.9

I managed to get out of the city yesterday for cake and coffee with a friend and went to see some bands tonight so all good. Need to be a bit careful next month as there won't be a huge amount of money coming in after losing 12 hours pay due to show cancellation.
3698: post from previous tenants finally taken to post box.
3699-3703: 5 GB data deleted
3704-3728: Packaging to recycling, rubbish to bin.

@TC77 & @QueenJess I have thought about framing it. Grandad was born 1903 and we do have pictures of him and the car the book relates to. When I was a very very little girl a do remember Grandad still tinkering with cars and motorbikes outside the house (he’d have been in his mid 70s at this point). The young lads in particular used to come round if they were having problems with their motorbikes to get them fixed/diagnosed. Grandma was less keen on oily machine parts in the kitchen.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Finally, the temperature has dropped to a nice 24C, with a bit of wind, so I've been able to actually think and do things!- I have started scouring the new plaster walls (it's 3 bedrooms, the landing and the stairwell) and swept the dust I created (and that had fallen in the past few weeks when I didn't have the energy to do anything). 1 bucket full! And now I have a blister on my left hand, where the thumb meets the hand- I have planned dd2's birthday party from her birthday in April, together with her. Handmade invitations had gone out 3 weeks ago.- Husband realised he is only coming back from his mother country on Sunday 4 September, instead of 1 September. This means I won't have his help for the first days of school, the birthday party, and he's returning in the middle of the church picknick I volunteered for, insisting I pick him up from Brussels' South station at noon (which is 1 hour to go, 1 hour to return...); I told him I'd prefer it if he got the connecting train to a station next to the church (20 minutes for him, 5 for me). That discussion has not yet finished...- I gave downstairs a good clean, and have started washing the sofa covers and curtains.- out: several half-finished craft projects from dd2.- a house in our street is apparently also cleaning out their stuff and puts it out on the street with a 'free' sign. I have collected a standing lamp and have asked dd1 to pick up the 2 suitcases I saw this morning. We will give them a quick clean and an afternoon in the sunshine, and then fill them with stuff for husband's relatives in Africa. It's easier to stack when all the clothes and shoes are in suitcases, rather than the large plastic bags they are currently in. His relatives like the old suitcases to keep dust vermin out of their stuff. Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.599

Hi everyone.Yesterday I decluttered a job. And I am strangely proud of the fact that we broke the takings record. It was busy but honestly easy compared to last year when working with the difficult entitled girl.Mr V doesn’t finish until Wednesday. So the cruise was lovely and over too soon. The boat was brand new from Italy. I left the 3 electricial adapters at home and had to buy one on the ship. 🤦♀️ No souvenirs purchased.Today is a washing day. Bedding and cruise stuff. Thank you bit by bit for cat sitting and cleaning my fridge! Even unearthing some very elderly jam.I know what you mean about home renovation Siebrie. It took me a couple of weeks to clean up the dust and grit here and that was only after outside work. I have inside renovation to look forward to.I am looking forward to outing much more stuff in the near future. First my clothes and bedding to go through. Oh,DS’s house is chocolate box gorgeous. Very old. I have offered them a Persian rug and a folding brass table which I have hung onto. They would totally look great in their house. I have had them a very long time so am pleased that they will stay in the family.Love to everyone in need.Vx:10

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Declutter/Relocate one item every time I stand up.
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Saturday we had fish’n’chips for dinner - we now only buy one lot of chips to share between the three of us. The chip shop is saving money by not peeling the potatoes - very MSE 🙂 Sunday was another bright, sunny day. Finished drying washing, folded & put away. DB phoned again & we caught up on the rest of our news Bank Holiday Monday started bright & sunny but with a chilly wind. Now overcast. I have done some paperwork & written a shopping list for DH who is now at sm. He has just phoned - sm is packed, various items missing & checkout queues really long as apparently a skeleton staff.

Great work TC77 👏 Well done on having some family & friend time 🙂
Definitely sounds like The Library of Congress to me weenancy 😉 3,000 books + 60 boxes of books 😮 Great work on tidying & cleaning 👏 I like the arrangement with the handyman 🙂 I can imagine that parking isn’t cheap & is probably difficult as well 😬 Good luck with Diane 🍀 did the screeching occur about 6:00 p.m. your time 😂
QueenJess, sorry to hear that August Bank Holiday is such a nightmare 😔 Hope both DS & DD are feeling better. Sounds like you have plenty of options to choose from 😉 & I fully understand that you are not yet ready to tackle your DH re the shoes 🙂
TC77, a warm bath sounds great 😌
No wonder you are finding it hard going QueenJess - a teething child - isn’ that one of the twelve labours of Hercules?
Thanks for the reminder re nesquik - brings back happy childhood memories 🙂
Back later after putting away shopping 😉
