It appears that since I went to the GP about my dodgy knee its started to want more attention.  It's really playing up and I've developed bruising to the inside of my knee which I've never had before.  Apparently its a big warning sign that I need to rest it so very limited walking for the next few days at least.   Hoping to turn it into a positive by catching up with some stuff around the house and garden.

Rummaged through the shed today to find the slightly AWOL hinges for the cupboard over the stairs. 

In a very MSE moment I removed these (with permission) from a door that was being scrapped, They’re lovely long barn door style hinges. I was a little concerned that the police (the station was just round the corner) were going to ask me what I was doing in a lady’s garden with a cordless screwdriver on a Saturday night…...  

Whilst there the shed got a bit of a spruce up and tidy. 

I’ve also re-found my grandad’s 1930 car maintenance manual complete with oily thumb and fingerprints! ❤️

Typical morning - up and fed two dogs, two indoor cats, two outdoor cats. They get cranky if I don't do that first. Then did dishes everyone brought down last night after I went to bed. Cleaned more out of the fridge - I'll get it done yet. Made breakfast for me, did my e-mail, then FaceBook, then came here. Got bags ready for church - bag cat food for minister's cat, two bags food for youth minister. After church today we have to go to the bank to deposit checks (came too late yesterday - mail delivered at 6:00 pm, getting later everyday). Need to do some quick grocery shopping. Then back to try and clean out more clutter and work on friend's family tree. Or at least this is how it is supposed to go. We'll see what happens.

Ds2 collected his belongings yesterday, filled a Sprinter van so has made loads of space. He was supposed to pick up the key today but the estate agent didn't turn up. He and DD1 hung around most of the day trying to get some kind of response from EA. Eventually after they came home. this evening an email from the EA apologising and saying it's his mistake and will contact him tomorrow with a new date. It means he'll prob need the van for an extra day & he's due surgery this week so not great.

However, my bedroom is all painted and looks great. Moved my bed back in and put the curtains up today. Got to wait for paint to properly go off but I'll be back in my own bed tonight! However I have loads of clutter from the wardrobe still to be sorted. All in my living room. 

DS3 still in hospital but has taken an interest in choosing a colour paint for his room which also badly needs doing. So I'm hoping to have that done before he comes home, now I have completed my 60 year decorating apprenticeship and am now a Master Decorator.

Out all day today and completely knackered. I opened up the stuffed full cupboard upstairs and sifted through the medical box. Despite having gone through it a few months ago, I still found a few bits to go.

@Wildrose congratulations on painting, took me weeks to do my study and then slipped on plastic and bruised my back badly so v impressed at speed and professionalism. Good news that DS interested in his room being painted and a pain about EA.
Managed some cleaning but been out for long walk and swim and getting stuff together to go to my dads house. Few things posted.
