Holiday Mantras
1. Try not to eat too much but drink plenty of water
2. Restrict time playing AB2 to 45 mins in the morning & 60 mins in the evening 😉
3. Breakfast everyday with the family 😉
4. Enjoy the excursions
Tuesday morning & it is blue skies & hot 🥵 We were both up by 6:30 & waiting for S to phone at 7:00 a.m. to arrange for bellboy to pick up the check-in luggage. Picked up by 7:30 a.m. - one less worry. DH is showered, I am washed - both partially dressed. Breakfast will be in Dorado so we can take our last look at the sea 🙂 Then back to our rooms finish packing the last bits into our hand luggage then check out & walk up to main building. DH & I are itching to be on the plane & in the air & will be unable to truly relax until we are 😔 Very silly really as the whole thing is really out of our control but c’est la vie 😂 We have managed to declutter a used up toothpaste tube & an empty deodorant can - takes me to 1145 🙂 - should be on 1290 so I have some catching up to do when we get home 😉
Thanks teachergirl 👏 Sounds like an arduous 24 hours but hopefully if QueenJess can do this her little one will follow in your daughter’s footsteps 🤞Excellent decluttering & an extra incentive to tidy up 👏🙂
Thanks Wildrose 👏 Hope you can get a better nights sleep tonight 🤞 Excellent decluttering- you are motoring along 👏 How fortunate to avoid any bee stings 🙂 maybe when you were working around the bees nest you were unconsciously hearing buzzing 🤔 Don’t forget the picture of the completed plastering 😉🙃
Everything crossed that your Covid test is negative🤞 😖 to insurance company - very poor customer relations - you’d think they would be champing at the bit to get your money 😖 Shame about the method of weight loss but congratulations on another 2 lbs 👏
What a great idea Siebrie 👏
Sending hugs & good wishes to all for as good a day as possible 🙂

Hello. Big working days done and oooft they were busy and hot and tiring.
And second job today ( seven to go) decluttered!Round to mums this afternoon.Had a tip run booked. Chap there asked how my car was after it got bumped the other week.5 bags of garden waste and some hard plastic and something that made me just sob.I’d taken mums quilt off her bed and stuffed it in the car but when I lifted it out I was just engulfed by the smell. The smell of her. A nice smell. And it just made me cry. And I cried driving home and I just arrived home when my niece arrived to collect stuff and had 2 people to help her. So I didn’t have any time to process as they were up and down stairs putting stuff in their cars. And then the estate agent called so was chatting to her for about 25 minutes to organise someone to come out and value house. And they left as I was still on the phone.Anyway I just missed my mum today. It’s been 10 weeks today since she died. And I’ve been clearing for 9 whole weeks. I went out in the garden and sobbed a bit more but also weeded😆…multitasker that’s me!Plan to go back round for an hour later to do a bit more in the garden if it stays dry.Chap from allotment came on Sunday and took garden stuff away. So I’m glad that’s away.13 -
mhagster have a big hug from me. I find I have a "miss my Mum" moment ( passed 2014 ) when I least expect it and always takes me by surprise. The love for your Mum will never diminish or be forgotten 🧡
We went to the Ran*e today to buy a new desktop fan as ours is a bit lethargic and only blows cool air now, so the box has been recycled and the plastic bag binned. I treated myself to new salt and pepper grinders too as the old ones bit the dust a while ago, Oh such extravagance ! I finally bought a new glass vinegar bottle for £1.49, hurrah !👏 None of my local town shops sold them and I've been looking for ages but I refused to pay from £5 upwards on the big river site for the same item 😲 Many thanks to Liverpool Anne and Floriana for reminding me about the glass ones ( last June 🙄 )
I bought 2 new large cushions for the van too as I was unable to be able to buy new inners of the correct size. I have kept one inner, which was not too bad, to use for stuffing something in the future, the other one beyond further use has been binned. The old covers have been reused to hold two new quilted throws which will be used in the van and then later at home. Think my purse has been fully decluttered today and will now remain firmly closed for a while👛
Take care all, hugs to anyone in need.

Thanks nannywindow it kind of took me by surprise.Anyway back round for an hour after tea. Weeding and pruning. Filled 4 bags. And a chat over the garden fence of course 😊9

@mhagster, hugs and please take care of yourself as still so recent that you lost your mum. Nearly 6 months since I lost my dad and perhaps as he survived my mum I find miss him often and have strong feelings of loss at unexpected moments. Decluttered heavy pc monitor ( brought back lighter one from dads) person was so pleased and also a pressure relief cushion - enjoying the free sites and finding lovely people taking things. Only 2 items but quite big .
And DD2 having clear out. I've kept out of way and she's tidied the living area, her bedroom over period of days.

Tomorrow DD2 and I sort the spare room as she's having friends stay on Thursday night, hence the tidying up. I'm still enjoying my bedroom being tidy and finding the motivation from others here more advanced and and they starting their journey. X7

@mhagster It’s 9 years this September since I lost my mum and 20 years this December that I lost my dad. I still have ‘I miss my mum’ and ‘I miss my dad’ moments. The thing I’ve found is that everything they were and everything they taught you and you shared never really leaves you. Because of that they’re still ‘there’ when you need their advice and nothing stops you having a chat with them (not as nutty as it sounds).✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Read the latest posts and was sat here thinking I've nothing to add, then it dawned on me.... decluttered the freezer with a tidy up and clean of each drawer, don't think I've done it since it was purchased.. ahem about 5yrs ago!!
when I think about it, in balance it wasn't that bad. Anyhow there is now one empty drawer (for the time being) 2 emptied out plastic bags a comprehensive list of the contents. Very easily 2/3 months worth of meals with little extra to buy. Will need to make another list of meals that can be made to help plan ahead. That's already part sorted as the meatballs I made DH doesn't like. 12 meals for 2 will be eaten by yours truly, work meals sorted. I haven't got the rhubarb in it yet and there are 2 apple trees a pear tree and a blackcurrant bush to (declutter )harvest from yet to go in.
Got a task sorted on our devices for uploading the security we all need.
Shredded a pile of personal paperwork and moved into the paper bin.
Did another job of starting to work on my footwear that needs stretching and putting bits all away when finished. There are a few pairs that need sorting to make more comfy if possible, if not they may will need to go (ooh and I have just learnt how to use the strikeout line)
Up loaded my access to work emails - sad I know but needs must.
Deleted them off my phone - so all tidy not getting in the way.
Well done all those with RL poo going on and keeping going and still helping others like me
2 Scratters xx
