1. Write a daily To Do list - only 5 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bedDinner was the 2nd cottage pie I made yesterday & the last of the broccoli. Will do the wudupa later - promise 😉
896 - 897 Kitchen recycling & detritus
EnergyShifter, yippee new windows & the initial tidy up completed 👏 Well done on cancelling the blinds - salesmen are very good at subtle pressure & before you know it you are agreeing to buy even though it is not what you really want or is too expensive. I know when I have salesmen in I get too excited - fortunately my DH is not so easily persuaded 😉 Nothing wrong with makeshift window fittings whilst you investigate further 👏 Gospel music does lift the spirits. Hope I you enjoyed a restful Sunday 🙂
Sorry to hear that you have been unwell GrannyKate ☹️ but pleased that you are now on the mend 🙂Great work on the decluttering & dealing with frogs 👏 I did smile at the idea of a ‘plug party’ 😄
What a busy Sunday Fizz2015 👏 Can you bribe me with smarties - I do need to try on all my clothes 😉 & I promise I won’t eat them until I’ve finished 😂 One medal 🏅 to you & one medal 🏅 to your DD - a major frog successfully dealt with 👏
You are welcome teachergirl 🙂Not my abbreviation, I borrowed it from another thread 😉 Excellent work in the garage 👏 Shows your flexibility in decluttering & I fully understand wanting to see progress 🙂 Sometimes you just need to be able to see the difference your decluttering is making & you are correct that loft decluttering just doesn’t meet that need 😉 Nothing wrong with being on first name terms with the men at the dump 😉😉 especially as they are kind enough to help with the unloading 🙂
florianatwobob - yippee to DBro for finally sorting out the lawnmower & hedge trimmer & you didn’t even have to put them in his room 😉🥳 Great work on the ironing mountain range & creating a Don’t Buy list 👏 Hope the plumber is friendly & efficient 🤞
wort, all this talk of orchids is permeating my consciousness - I will have to stay away from M*S 😂
Excellent decluttering EnergyShifter 👏 Isn’t that just the way of things that so much gets done when one decides to potter 😉 Thank you for the lovely comment 🙂 The thing is that the cheerleading is a great motivator for me & reminds me of decluttering tasks that should be added to my To Do list 😄
Great decluttering short_bird 👏 Remember repetitious small tasks quite often have a more profound effect on our psyche than the big tasks 😉 Something you can have complete control of & not have to wait or rely on others 🙂
QueenJess wishing you every success in the hunt for the elusive yellow orchid 🍀 Excellent work in the bedroom - lots of decluttering done & a very small list of things to do to complete the project 👏 I don’t have quite as much paper as you seem to have but I also like to use both sides - so I tend to write with large handwriting 😉 so I don’t feel quite so guilty 😄

Very useful information QueenJess 👏
Shame you never found another jumper TC77 ☹️ but you do have the fun of looking 😉 I can never understand why some tradesmen seem to think it is OK to do an imperfect job 😖 Causes their customers stress & means that they have to return to finish the job properly. A needless waste of your time & theirs. Keep up the good work 👏
Good work short_bird 👏
Excellent work Liverpool_Anne & still being a good neighbour 👏 Too late for rhubarb crumble then 😌oh well maybe next time 😉 Over the last few of months it has been a struggle to get skimmed A r l a in either As*a or T*sco - no idea why 😔
Excellent decluttering short_bird 👏 Good luck with the electrician 🍀
teachergirl, at least you managed to do some decluttering in the hunt for the passport & driving licence 👏😉 Only joking 🙃
A very good day then EnergyShifter 🙂 Meeting people face to face & all the scrap metal gone 🥳 A win double 🙂
Thanks for doing the research QueenJess 👏
Ashamed to admit that my garden is suffering from total neglect this year florianatwobob 😔 I still haven’t planted anything & we missed out on seeing any of the flowers on the peony & camellia ☹️Tongues will start wagging with all these visitors to your home 🤣
Great work Deni_debt-free_dreamer 👏 especially finishing the bedroom & keeping it as a haven of peace & tranquility 🙂
And breathe 🧘 - all caught up with the cheerleading 🥳 so no excuses now - decluttering, tidying, planting & planning will start tomorrow 🙂MrsSD 🏅🏅🏅🏅 🌟 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️I AM A STAR 🌟

Thank you Mrs SD for your cheerleading - even more appreciated atm.
Bagged up bedding, bedroom curtains and dry cleaning for friend to take to laundry on Thursday. Laundry are happy to deal with them.
Several more bin bags onto the skip just before it was collected yesterday.
OH made good progress on the bedroom yesterday and will steam clean walls etc today plus clean carpet if he feels up to it. He struggles with the heat so needs to pace this week as Friday is due to be mega hot.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅5 -
Bothe the dishwasher as well as the washing machine have a problem: the dishwasher starts and then stops (something to do with the water flow, but it's unclear whether that's in or out; we are checking it), the new washing machine has a piece missing from the plastic ridges in the drum. The dishwasher company wanted €200 just to show up and check, so we've held off and will check better ourselves, first. If we can't fix it, we will try to sell it as a fixer-upper and do the dishes by hand until the new kitchen is installed. For the washing machine I have bought laundry nets, so that I can at least continue doing the laundry. We have a date for the start of the renovation works upstairs! Monday!!! Next few days: mad dash to get the last things cleared away, including the 4th ceiling. Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.596

@QueenJess. Brilliant news re the costume jewellery I have tons and never wear it so will sort it out and send it to them. I have to admit it is quite low on my massive list but it is something I might be able to do in front of the television so you never know.
Feeling a bit fed up this morning. (Daughter has covid, someone hit my car whilst in the car park and damaged it ( thankfully they owned up and insurance company already on the job but its the hassle) and the builders next door were already drilling before 8.00am) So went into the loft nice and early for my 30 minutes. So I have 7 mobile phones to find a home for and a folder of allotment papers from 20 years ago to shred. Like why 🤦♀️ Also a black bin bag of total tut ready for the dustbin men tomorrow.
Still haven’t found my driving licence so whilst I am shredding the allotment papers I will have to keep an eye out.
Loving this thread… you guys are such an inspiration. Thank youEnough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D8 -
@Siebrie Re your appliances. Have you tried googling it. There are all sorts of fixes online, especially if it comes up with an error code. My son and I once fixed a really expensive microwave door with a paper clip following instructions online and it worked a treat. Or looking up a local tradesman. Again I have a chap lives in the next road, he is very reasonable and will also tell me if it can be fixed or not.

Hi everyone. @Siebrie - Its amazing what you can find on google and fix yourself. Annoying Norton pop up on computer all last week - their 'help' was useless but found a computer geek page which explained what it was and we seem to have got rid of it successfully.

Good morning. What a busy lot you are. I don’t have that excuse. I am more or less house bound whilst the builders are here. I should be knocking spots off and decluttering all those nooks and crannies but I’m not. Nor am I applying myself to fixing my internet woes.(cba) I think there is enough mess and disturbance without creating more. I just keep on top of the laundry and cooking/washing up and that’s my lot at the moment. In the evening when the lads have gone I potter about in the garden. Still waiting for my ton of top soil to be delivered.I have started the log cabin quilt though. It will be a lap quilt as I only have materials for that size. I am on a no buy year for everything except bills and food. So far I have bought a few items of clothing and a hair spray.Thank you for my star Mrs SD. Thank you for your herculean task of cheerleading. I would like to award you a gold star for your dedication.Good luck with your renovation Siebrie. Quite a few of you are doing well with having work done on the house. We are in month 6 now of outside work. The difference already is fabulous. My builder will come back to do the inside as a winter job. Needs must. It will be nice to have a break in between. How are you Mothernerd?

I've been tidying up the bedroom a bit more. Just need to finish it now as it is so close and then I'll give it a dust as it'll be easy with nothing out. I ordered my lampshade; other purchases are pending and I'm not in a rush for them. I tried putting the toilet roll holder back up in the bathroom as it still seemed pretty sticky. I've put it on the side of the cupboard rather than on the tiles as it's actually a better place anyway and I think it will stick better. If it falls off I'll get a new sticky pad for it.I started tidying up the patio last night, but still got a fair bit to do (although I have until Saturday anyway). DH had to pop into the attic for something last night and he said "there's a lot of stuff in here". I reminded him that it was 20% kids stuff that will eventually go when they are older (I have some boxes for nice toys that will go when they don't play with them anymore and some stuff being stored due to a big age difference between DS and DD), 1% mine (I have 5 box files and 1 suitcase) and all the rest is DH's. Anyway, he managed to part with two massive plastic storage boxes that were empty and obviously are never going to be used. I put them on Buy Nothing with instant replies, so they will be snapped up.Also charging up a pile of batteries today which is a pain as my charger is on its last legs and only two ports work now and it takes forever. I think I will be getting a new one. Still got a massive list of things to do and am behind from last week. Will try and log on here everyday as it'll ensure something will get done!Decluttering:2346 - paperwork2347 - 2353 - plant pots/tags2354 - top I never wear2355 - 2356 - 2 huge plastic boxes2357 - 2376 - emails permanently deleted2025 decluttering: 2,369🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅
