1. Write a daily To Do list - only 5 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bedTry again 😉 Wednesday was another warm, sunny day. DH mowed the front lawn & sorted out the holiday electricals, cameras & cables. I had a more productive day - starting to get into the swing of things 🙂 Dealt with my mail including shredding, recycling & most importantly filing; checked the results of a couple of charity raffles; managed to get most of the contents of the kitchen freezer into the garage freezer - only had to bin a couple of lollies, a jar of pickled courgette slices & some chillies+ a few slices of bread onto back lawn for the birds; switched the fridge freezer off at the plug (fridge contents fine as only opened twice in 3.5 hours 👏); freezer fully defrosted, wiped down & dried + drawers washed & dried & returned with freezer switched back on; wrote a new organisation plan for both the freezers which I will implement on Thursday; thinned out takeaway containers & lids & finally gained another 3% of recording space on the TV planner 🙂 Dinner was onion pasta (that my DSis had cooked) from the freezer added a bit more pepper & Parmesan before reheating 🤤 Wudupa.
Thursday is a gloriously sunny & hot day 26C according to the weather app 🙂 Will start working once I have finished this post 😉
911 - 921 Kitchen recycling, 0.5” paper recycling, 5 takeaway containers & lids, 3 uu mini toiletries, newspaper - recycled
922 - 927 Kitchen & garage detritus, 2 broken plastic bike parts, 0.5” shredding, accidentally defrosted food - binned
GrannyKate at least you listened to your frogs 👏 My frogs have been ignored for so long that they have lost their voices 😂 Excellent decluttering 👏 I need to join you in the push to keep up with the same target 😉
Liverpool_Anne I am another one who noticed that you disposed of 11 random kids hiding in your cupboards 🤣 Good look with the bramble 🍀 As to the moths I hope it is singular & you don’t have the same work as last time 🤞 Excellent decluttering 👏 & great work on getting fitter & toning up 👏 Sadly no Al*i near us so I will just have to pop round 😉 as my rhubarb plants are not doing too well this year ☹️Good work short_bird 👏 Not sure how a 3 way duel would work 😉Excellent decluttering & well done on charming the man/men at the Tip mhagster 👏 Nothing wrong with a good blether 🙂2Scratters I hope you are doing a few things you enjoy amongst the decluttering 🤞Excellent work by the way 👏 & pleased to hear that DH is assisting - however reluctantly 😉
Will be back in a while as DH needs a shopping list 😉MrsSD 🏅🏅🏅🏅 🌟 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️I AM A STAR 🌟

Hello all, sorry to have been awol again, I spent so much time in the TLC carriage I was fast becoming part of the furniture ! I think the last time I was on here was just before MrsSD went on hols, BTW I hope you had a fabulous time. I haven't kept up with you all nor been able to do much decluttering except daily detritus and finish my jigsaw which is now back in it's box and put away for another time, at least that kept me sane 🤪
This week I did some weeding of the back garden and with the help of DH managed to get the back field lawn cut as the grass was about a foot in height and neither of us had felt up to doing it before then. It looks much nicer and tidier now, but don't think it would take a medal in the Chelsea flower show 🏆😂.
Yesterday our car came back from the repairers, only took 10 weeks to get it sorted, 🤬 to the bus driver for hitting it while it was stationary outside the house. Anyway today we were able to take all our caravan cushions over to the 'van ( the curtesy car wasn't big enough ) all of them except 2 scatter cushions as I took the covers off to wash and one of the inners had started to disintegrate, the inner has been binned and I will replace both inners.
Today we also sorted out the car stuff ready to go back in it and binned 3 used spark plugs and the box and an empty bottle of sanitiser. 2 pairs of winter gloves have been put back in the house along with a pair of DH's reading glasses and a pair of sunglasses, another pair of his sunglasses have been put in the cs bag. Why he needed 4 pairs of sunglasses in the glovebox is beyond me. I have also binned a pair of his shorts which had ripped and were beyond repair, I can't understand how they were put away like that 🤔 Shorts are needed for the first time this year here as it's very hot, very "Scorchio" 🥵
Hope everyone is well, hugs winging their way to you if needed.
Take care fellow declutterers

Hi all, not much done today as I hardly slept last night and just couldn't get going. I had a quick mooch around the bathroom and decluttered an empty tube of toothpaste, no idea why OH had left it there, uu a tube of my favourite hand cream and threw the tube away
, I am slowly getting rid of the various hand creams I had scattered around the house. We went swimming and I washed the kit as soon as we got home and put it on the line, it should be dry by the time I get out of the shower tomorrow
Tired now so off to bed

Oops - the ‘while’ has turned into many hours 😅 Not as productive a day as Wednesday ☹️ Wrote the shopping list for DH & waved him off with letters/cards to post 🙂 Then used the time to rearrange both freezers following the plan I had devised. A very successful sort out with enough space left to warrant a visit to the butchers for some good quality meat & plenty of space to store today’s purchases, which were divided, bagged, labelled & packed away soon after DH returned home. Only had to bin some lettuce that had gone brown 🤢 I also phoned my bank & paid my CC bill & checked the transactions on my current account. Rather worryingly a cheque I wrote in March to a family member has still not been cashed so need to find out if there is a problem ☹️ The only other thing I did today was watch the semi finals of BGT (very disappointed at most of the acts that got put through to the final 😔) Then DSis & I watched the final together - from our perspective the correct person won 🙂 I am now up to 73% of recording space on the TV planner. Dinner was hot dogs 🌭 & burgers 🍔 cooked by DH in the chiminea 👏 My contribution was to fry up some onions 😉 Wudupa.928 - 930 Kitchen recycling & detritus + ruined food
Great garden decluttering Liverpool_Anne 👏 Good idea re the rhubarb crumble - perhaps it can be a reward for completing 40 lengths 😉
Good work GrannyKate 👏 I have yet to plant anything ☹️QueenJess, Sorry to hear that DS is unwell 🤒 Remember you can only do what you can do 🙂 taking care of DS definitely takes priority over decluttering 🙂
Liverpool_Anne & DuranGirl - great double act 🙂 I might have to resort to the same tactics to boost my numbers 🤣
Nice to see you nannywindow 👋 The TLC Carriage is there for when RL is too intrusive & you should spend as much time there as you need to recharge your Life Batteries 🙂 The holiday was
truly fabulous - many wonderful memories & some great photos 😃 Well done on keeping up with the daily decluttering 👏 Excellent work by you & DH mowing the field/lawn 👏 Ten weeks is a long time for car repairs - presumably the garage couldn’t get the parts ☹️ DH has had problems getting spare parts for the Harley - some have taken 3 months to arrive 😔 Great work persuading DH to release a pair of sunglasses 😉during your clean out of the car. As to the shorts are they DH’s favourites 😉
Good work on the digital decluttering TC77 👏
Good work Liverpool_Anne - remember every item out is a win 👏 Hope you manage a restful night’s sleep 😴MrsSD 🏅🏅🏅🏅 🌟 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️I AM A STAR 🌟

Yesterday I didn’t go round to mums but sat at table and sorted out her paperwork into a file. Pile to drop off at solicitor today. Finding bits and pieces chaotically all over her house. So now they can live in the one place where I know where to find them. Then ( having just cleared my table) spread out a pile of things from an old biscuit box. And sorting them into the right piles of who should now have them. This took a couple of hours back and forth. But it’s done and table reclaimed.Hoping to get a lot of stuff to charity shop today as DD2 off work and her car is much bigger than mine.Have a lovely day7

Plumbers decluttered and paid (always efficient)
Operation Bath panel continues - excitingly its nearly ready to be primed and painted. Here’s a teaser before it was taken away again
Also an impromptu readjustment of the back door this week. It had dropped slightly and with current glorious weather the plastic is expanding causing the door to scrap a little on the floor. Lovely chap sorted it there and then for a slightly steep but worthwhile £75.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Hi all, as predicted the swim kit is dry and the bed has been changed and the first load is in the washing machine before I head into the garden for more bramble clearing before it gets too hot. I have to wear long sleeves and trousers to prevent them scratching me to ribbons
Take care everyone6 -
Several bin bags out over the last couple of days. Spent first night at home in 4 weeks last night. No bites so hopefully we have done enough to get rid of bugs. Still loads more to do to get all the other rooms habitable. Will start on the kitchen tomorrow.277 old emails deleted whilst looking for a particular one.
Taking it easy and staying indoors today to avoid the heat. Helped OH go through a couple of boxes of his family things and more than half of it back in a box to go - the rest to be cleaned and put in his display cabinet.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅7 -
Hi.Love the bath panel Floriana. It is a lovely day here, we seem to be dodging the extreme heat. The builders are putting the finishing touches to the stable bricks at the side of the house. It has been a big job. Underpinning a long wall, drains and then the bricks. They unearthed the foundations of a large air raid shelter.Tomorrow we will empty the two half sheds which are like grand bike stores, move them against the wall and refill. The new big shed is due to be delivered next week. Then the boxes in the sitting room can leave!Next week we move onto what will become my cottage garden. A small patio for a bench, rebuild stone steps which go to the upper garden, face a concrete buttress with stone and a raised bed. No drains so it should be quicker. The pathway will be gravel.Soil for the back yard still awol.Builders broke a mug and that is all that is out with the exception of using up and wearing out of everything.I visited a friend yesterday. She has recently bought a massive Victorian house with massive garage, even bigger barn and acres of gardens. It is beautiful but not for me. I wouldn’t want all that work at my age. I wouldn’t like the responsibility of it all. She is struggling to fill the space.I will try once again to add a photo.Vx:7
