Pleased to hear that the builders are reaching the end of your project, vulpix👏 Good luck with the sheds & your new patio area 🍀 Hopefully you can get some rest & time to admire the renovations 🙂 Good luck to your friend with her Victorian house 🍀 Very sure that DH & I wouldn’t have had the time, money or skills to deal with such a large project even 30 years ago 😉
Sorry to hear that RL is making you feel even more overwhelmed with your clutter, TC77 😔 but you are still doing a grand job dealing with both your clutter & frogs 👏
Excellent email decluttering Deni_debt-free_dreamer 👏 At the rate you are progressing you will be finished by the end of the month 😉
Thank you for sharing childhood memories florianatwobob 👏
Sorry to hear that ill health has kept you in the TLC Carriage, nannywindow ☹️ but pleased to hear that you are on the mend 🙂 even if not as quickly as you would like 😔 Hopefully the weather will cool down so the various bits can make their way fully out of your house 👏
Excellent decluttering mhagster 👏 Shows how much work you have already done being able to escape the chaos by retiring to the haven that is your bedroom 🙂
teachergirl, from experience councils are notoriously bad at updating websites or if the website is correct then they don’t inform their collection staff 😡 Great work re decluttering the bed, curtains & garden waste 👏 Enjoy your daughter’s visit - hopefully you will have perfect weather for the beach trip 🤞
Pleased to hear that your DD is finally getting better QueenJess 🙂 and that you are almost back on track with the decluttering 👏 especially the digital decluttering 👏
Well done on such a successful book sale, weenancy 👏Always pleased to hear that your hard work is rewarded 🙂 Excellent work on your frog list & keeping up with the day to day tasks 👏 Keep up the good work on ignoring your roommates as much as possible - your sanity is important 😉
Excellent work Liverpool_Anne 👏 Newly washed bed linen is one of the great joys of life 😁 As to the bramble, I hope you don’t have to remove too much of the rose bush 🤞 although I have to say that you are showing more patience, determination & care than I would 😉 I would almost certainly hack & slash probably sacrificing both the rose & the buddleia 😬
shabbychic12, never any need to get another ticket to re-board the EDT 😉 It is an annual ticket which entitles you to use all the available facilities including the TLC Carriage which is fully stocked with hm cake & biscuits, plenty of hot & cold drinks & a suitable amount of alcohol 😉
vulpix, lovely chatty post 🙂 I do so love hearing about local history & the history of houses 🙂 Our house was a new build in 1998/9 so nothing of interest 😉 Shame you can’t add pictures any more as the whole renovation sounds wonderful 🙂
How ‘kind’ of DS2 GrannyKate 😉 Were you given any warning 😉 or was it a fait accompli 😅 Excellent decluttering 👏 Hopefully the frogs will lose their voices soon 😉🤞
Excellent work Baxtersmum especially keeping clutter out 👏
Very pleased that you are feeling less overwhelmed TC77 🙂 & are on a roll with your decluttering 👏Sometimes I think that acknowledging to ourselves that we are struggling leads to a certain lessening of stress & allows us to accept that we are not superhuman 😉 We then feel freer to declutter at our own pace realising that every item out is a success story 👏 Keep up the good work 🙂
Yippee to DSis lending a hand with the kitchen clean up & declutter, oceanspirit 🥳 Hopefully that will make the task less onerous 🤞Keep up the good work 👏

After my strong start to the week I have slowed down - some of it was due to heat so I'm not complaining! Got a few things done today including washing all the downstairs floors now the dust has settled. Upstairs tomorrow if I can summon up enough energy. I'm off to Salisbury for a few days on Monday (I'm referring to it as my DIY Retreat) so will have to pack and get stuff organised in the house as ExH will be staying here with DS.EnergyShifter said:
