@EnergyShifter and others, have the decorators in. very friendly and I make cups of coffee and offer parking permits, (8am) by midday and several cups of refreshments later, thinking they are ok, by 2pm finding it a bit much, they left soon after but back tomorrow but realise my tolerance is v low! and was working upstairs. Like the dining room , same colour in the hall (below dado) not so sure......
counting 4 ood food, few bits lying around as tidied up, some emails deleted and just noticed email from ombudsman about my complaint about rat and insurance had deadline of tomorrow. Checked my records and they had some dates and facts wrong - not sure it will make a difference as refused my complaint so far but worth a punt.
Promising to be more selective about what I put back in the rooms/hall afterwards.
also used t*eco points to buy DD1 a railcard, and nudged few other frogs.
Lots of scope for like with like as last bit of clearing for decorators was putting things hastily in drawers.

2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
There was some rain but not much ☹️ Dinner was chicken in breadcrumbs, mash & peas. Wudupa.

Great work QueenJess 👏 Clearing digital clutter is a great way to maintain some control 🙂
TC77, hope the decorators don’t outstay their welcome 😉 Good luck with ombudsman 🍀

Just checking in before I leave for my trip South. I expect to declutter money and clutter weight!
Got absolutely soaked through yesterday afternoon doing school run. Taking children to school now before I leave but at least it is much brighter. Garden was very pleased to see the rain.
746 Some tomato plants moved to permanent place in greenhouse. Keeping cucumbers indoors for the moment.
747 More seeds planted. I have some tomato seeds in a tray and not a single one is doing anything after 4 weeks.
See you soon. I may need to relax in TLC Carriage when I get back to recover from driving.2025 Decluttering Campaign 648/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Found 2 jellies OOD 2020 they are now into jellies and portioned up ready.
Also found Paella spice packet OOD 2021 - not bad for me. That is now sat in a prominent place to be used this week.
Decluttered (with tears) 2 little bedroom door signs 1 with his name on and the other was an initial when DS was little. They have been hanging about for the best part of 30 years!! I'm not telling him as he'd be laughing at me now for having kept them at all.
Photographed some items that are to be used for recycling pennies but need to get them on line now or it won't work!
Got a surprise wash done as the weather had decided to dry up nicely after the needed rain. Managed to get the wash dry. Nice end to the day bringing that load into the house.
DH wanted to eat out yesterday as was our 37th wedding anniversary, I said I wanted to get something for the house. Decluttered food from the fridge into a full English for tea follow by the OOD jelly for pudding. Found a side board on FB that will suit our living room.
Our Fridge is to get its special treatment today as is almost empty bar some bottles of alcohol laid in there. We don't even drink really. Get ready germs I'm coming at you!!
Decluttered one of my t shirts for rags for the shed. Also managed to throw out some boxes I had been saving - don't ask. Cleared 2 bottles of past their best (clearly OOD) sun screens from the top of the bathroom cabinet. Bit more space on there now.
Enjoy the better weather Peeps.

Really down yesterday and slightly anxious about my first proper CBT session. Looked at lots of photos of cute baby animals until I felt better. 2 extra green bins put out for collection (belong to neighbours but none of them were using them and I have been weeding the communal backs and cutting ivy from the furniture shop storage area - so overgrown that parents with pushchairs and older children holding the handles get pushed into the road and mobility scooters and anyone under 5'6" gets stuck). Was hoping to chop more leaves but it was persisting down so decided getting what I'd already done collected was enough.
Brought two bags of recycling downstairs and out to the bins, 2 more bags collected from downstairs, 2 large garden items (one a full bin bag) taken out of the front room into the yard, 2 bags of rubbish and one pile of pizza boxes collected and out to the bins. Messaged DS2 about the games he lent us - they can go (gone). The bag also contained a pair of trainers - DS3's but he's happy for them to go to the clothing bank. Renewed my library books online as I didn't think I'd have time to squeeze in returning them. Phoned to make an appointment and they had a cancellation so I took it.
Had my CBT appointment online, have formulated a treatment plan (curiously my scores aren't bad - possibly because I've got overwhelmed with all the things I have to do and have become numb, resisting the urge to hide under the bedclothes and stay there) and she will make two referrals for me (adult social services and someone called a community link worker who can help with applying for a bus pass, for mobility not age and other form filling). Will also get an email about healthy routes initiative - something I may want to take up later.
Ate, waited for a delivery (told DS3 he could go back to bed when he had taken it in - he'd only had 4 hours sleep). took 4 books back to the library then went to the bus stop to wait for the infirmary bus. Good appointment, no problems with circulation etc, podiatrist called the nurse across to deal with an awkwardly places corn and I got advice on a couple of things that were worrying me.
Read whilst waiting for the next bus, rode all the way to mum's and brought the bins back in. Getting very hungry so bought a sandwich and ate whilst waiting for the bus. brought my bins in when I got home, ready for bed at 5pm.
Still very tired today. Came down to wait for a parcel, 3 small bags into the bin (DS3 had used his takeaway bags to tie all his packaging in), wanted to tackle the small couch but going back upstairs to brain dump and tackle bits that I can.

I will have a look at that re teabags use @vulpix, what a great idea. Certainly some biggies are back to biodegradable. I haven't found any in the heap. Enjoy the wedding and trip.
Sounds like a fab holiday planned @Mrs_Salad_Dodger We did a lot of things on your itineray. Lost track of time amd missed out plane. Luckily the airline were helpful and we got on the next plane for free. What a fab holiday tho.
Enjoy your trip @GrannyKate
So probably the last check in before I go off tomorrow. Out today: 2 bags to CS ;1x in and out bag plus 1 of mine. 2 bags of confidential waste (about 7kg each). all dropped off. I found a bag of this stuff in the garage that was my sister's plus a bag of DS2s all very old.
Lots of stuff to do today.

Hi chums. Can’t remember when you are going to Cheshire bit by bit. We have been over the hill today for Mr v’s job. All the little lanes are looking lush and fresh. Lambs and bluebells, nothing more uplifting. Enjoy.I am on a no buy year. BUT 3 day wedding and a week in Scotland imminent. I have purchased a sweatshirt and some smart trousers and some black jeans. I am also buying a coat off market place later. Annoyingly I have lost my warm puffa coat. ☹️ No clue where it went. I am paying for the coat with the money I sold the foot stool for.Take care all. Vx:10

Well I was not expecting to post here today as no time for digital decluttering in the day and I'm so exhausted it's the last thing I want to do with what little I have left of my evening. However, I was idly flicking onto my local buy nothing group earlier and someone had asked for scraps of wrapping paper for an art project.. well as I throw nothing away as I want to always try and reuse it, I jumped on that. I pulled out loads of small pieces I will probably keep forever and never find anything small enough to wrap, put them in a bag and they were picked up this afternoon!369 - 1 pen that had run out370 - 406 - wrapping paper scrapsI think can already see I'll have to set a new decluttering target soon!2025 decluttering: 3,5045🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

2051-2073: items to bin or recycling
2074-2097: 22 GB data and 100 emails deleted.
2098-2100: 2 DVD's and a book to the charity shop pile.
Still ploughing on with the no spend days, 4 so far: with the combination of 2 weeks off work with Covid then the 7 days away during April, it's been a shock to the bank account actually having a life outside work.
