Did some e-decluttering. Removed over 900 emails, and got rid of 15 bookmarked sites, and unsubscribed from 6 organizations who were forever sending me useless info.Started at the top of my whatsapp phone contacts, and cleared out 2 months worth of texts and pics for 3 contacts. Then unfortunately I received an email from Scottish Power, telling me my monthly fixed tariff payment was going up from £106 to £337 pm. Was a basket case the rest of the day, couldnt do anything. They later emailed me to say after looking at my smart meter figures, they would reduce it to ......£327 pm.Well thats a relief! - not.Looks like I have to go on a variable tariff for the duration, which will be about 60% higher cost, but certainly nowhere near 300%11

15/52 - a pair of pyjama bottoms out
16/52 - 2 random items from the mantelpiece (languished there for months) to the bin
17/52 - present posted but used the envelope the present bought online came to me in, turned inside out and posted on. Just a little thing but it made me smile.
Also, I seemed to have turned a corner with keeping on top of the fridge. I've become the fridge police but I quite like it. Less getting wasted but since I'm not the cook I'm aware I might have become a bit of a bag.11 -
2122-2127: items of clothing to recycling or bin
2128-2141: items to bin or recycling (a good day for finishing things off)
2142-2147: 50 emails and 5GB data deleted.
some items used from the freezer so that's something else off the list of ongoing jobs. Fridge is almost empty, so that can be tackled early next week.
Double shift tomorrow so better get on with a couple of things...‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Just popping in after a day of tidying and shuffling today. Various bits of rubbish into various bins and some DVDs off to the charity bag
Decluttered sewing some poppers onto two shirts to preserve my modesty. One shirt has a button that likes to undo itself. The other likes to gape.
DSis and I had a lovely trip to the V&A yesterday to see the Faberge exhibition. Oh my, the pieces on display were amazing. So much talent. Sadly no pictures as photography was forbidden but it did mean you paid close attention and really ‘looked’. Stopped off for coffee and cake in the cafe and to gaze at the modern lights and Victorian tiles. .✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

@florianatwobob envious of V&A haven't been there for years and off my radar but used to be a regular.
Up early and abit of momentum. Emptied one desk drawer, hoovered it, and in process nearly threw away a hoover bit but checked and it fits my current hoover (couldn't find the right bit) so labelled with a sharpie! , bits of paper out, other things like with like'd, another hoover bit, and empty boxes offered on free site, mop head (don't use that type out, 2 storage boxes emptied and soaking, and gathering all cleaning clothes from around the place to wash, Some certificates together and a little filing - yesterday sorted bank stuff, some shredding, ood food, bit of filing, part of office put back, 3 things in CS bag , abit of weeding, and pack of seed sown, counting as 30 - 732
Like with like is a real struggle for me so counting to motivate myself and reduces as clutter too

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 5 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Friday night’s dinner was changed to Chinese takeaway - DH & DSis had enough for Saturday night’s dinner 🙂 As I am not a fan of reheated Chinese I had my usual starter box containing 2 quarters of prawn toast, 2 spare ribs, seaweed, 4 mini spring rolls, 2 chicken skewers & a pot of satay sauce. Saturday was mostly a dull day with a little rain & some sunshine. DH put the mudguard back onto the Goldwing, filled the bird & squirrel feeders & found his sunglasses 🙂 I washed the bed clothes but had to resort to using the td ☹️ Sorted a bit of paperwork including writing a note for my milkman cancelling milk & eggs whilst we are away + started on my wardrobe by emptying 2 shelves - not sorted yet 😔. DSis went to sm. I made myself an omelette filled with mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers & grated cheese 🤤 Wudupa.Sunday is a gloriously sunny & warm day.783 - 789 Kitchen recycling, magazine, 5 plastic takeaway boxes & lids - recycled790 Kitchen detritus binned
Good work short_bird 👏 Good luck with the poster sales 🍀What a lucky find EnergyShifter 🍀 and Great decluttering 👏 Hope you have a lovely trip to Liverpool 🙂TC77, that’s the trouble with only partial decorating makes everywhere else look dingy ☹️ I think I would count all the phone calls re rat situation as times 3 due to the stress - seems a bit mean to only count as 3 in total 😉 Keep up the good work 👏
Yippee Baxtersmum 🥳 great news that you are almost done with the visible & annoying clutter 👏 Good luck with the hidden stuff & wish you lots of success with reaching decisions & selling items 🍀 Poor pupster ☹️ No advice re blood stains but I am sure there is a thread somewhere about stain removal 🤞Sorry to hear about the food intolerances 😔 but at least you get to add to your decluttering numbers 😉😉
mothernerd, great idea re excess packaging & the jewellery boxes - your mum was a wise woman 🙂 Excellent decluttering & completion of various tasks 👏 As you say the numbers don’t reflect the amount of work done ☹️ So sorry to hear that you received sad news 😔Excellent work TC77 👏 I think I will help myself to some fruit 😉 thank you for thinking of our waistlines 😅
Great work Liverpool_Anne 👏 I am especially impressed that you are taking active measures to get healthy & fit 🙂 At the rate you and OH are going you will be back to 50 lengths by the end of June at the latest 👏🙂 Good luck with the ballot - something to look forward to 🍀 If you manage to find a supply of motivation could you please share it 😉😉
Great work on the e-decluttering dustydigger 👏 Talk about a disgusting way to treat their customers - I cannot see any justification for increasing DD by 300% 😡 seems a very nasty ploy to get everyone on to a variable rate so they can hide further increases & make it difficult for their customers to keep track of the costs - I am spitting feathers 🪶Great decluttering Rootle 👏
Excellent decluttering short_bird 👏
Great decluttering florianatwobob 👏 What a lovely day out to the V&A 🙂 Sadly I have to admit that despite living in London for over 30 years I have yet to visit the V&A 😔
TC77, I agree with Floss & from my pov little declutterings are often more satisfying/gratifying than
getting rid of a large item. So well done 👏
Well said Floss 👏MrsSD 🏅🏅🏅🏅 🌟 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️I AM A STAR 🌟

@Baxtersmum. Soaking the bloodstained area in cold salt water helps lift the blood. Be generous with the salting and pour some straight onto the area, this is not a time for moderation! 😉 Don’t use hot/warm water as it sets the stain. Alternatively V@nish oxy action (the one for whites is very good) to soak and then more in the washing machine, again not a hot wash, 30 degrees will be fine. If there is still any staining try all of the above again. Hang outside to dry on a sunny day as the UV will help bleach any remaining stain out. (My ‘Mummy Floriana’ was skilled in stain removal).✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Hello, Strangers !
Still no luck with a new job - had to turn 2 of them down as the job advert said fully work from home which turned into "oh its all in the office for the first 2 months then 3 days in office 2 days home". Wasn't impressed at all!
NOW......I have decluttered up to 50 items but I've deleted the document with the list of items...and I can't get it back.
But I know a few of Remi's toys were on there, a few old clothes etc.
🧼 Decluttering *I did* this weekend 🧼
#51 - 3 of Remi's old plushie toys; would've loved for him to keep them but unsafe for him
#52 - Cleaned out my desk draw
#53 - Cleaned out my desk shelf
#54 - Gmails that had been getting out of hand
#55 - Gdrive from pics of Remi that weren't in focus/anything different (I mean - i had 7 copies of 1 pic - how does that even happen i'll never know!) and other bits
#56 - Remi's newest chewy toy
🧼 Decluttering *Hubs did* this weekend 🧼
Hubby did a cracking job at...
mowing & strimming our front & back garden!!
Pulling some weeds
Thought he deserved his own little list as he's done a lot recently

Onto building a life I love x9 -
I have managed to delete 289 of my own e-mails - and over a thousand in one of my roommates email as he has no idea what to do with them - over 1500 still to go. Cleaned up more of the backyard. Decided planting anything until husky trained won't be an option. I'm going to plant the tomatoes in the front yard planters instead. We have just a tiny area in front hidden by the garage for vegetables so tidying that area up. Almost finished sorting what is in the Room of Doom. Now I gathering what she left in the other rooms - box of chalk (about sixty sticks of chalk), books, cd cases, clothes in living room, stuff in kitchen including the freezer, and in two bathrooms. It looks like everything will fit in about 6 medium-sized boxes if I need to ship it to her. I just don't want to forget anything that might mean something to her. She has lost so much being shifted around in foster homes. Spent a lot of this week on helping people with their genealogy too - Italian, Mexican, Tongan, English, Swedish, and US this week. Even managed to add more to my Swedish family history.11
