Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 5 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bedThursday was a lovely sunny day but very chilly in the shade. I wrote a rough menu plan plus a shopping list for DH. DH dropped off the 2nd load of stuff at the Tip on the way to sm. On his return everything was packed away. DH filled all the bird feeders & zizzed all the food scraps for the worms. I cleared more recorded programmes + DSis & I finally watched Sunday’s DOI 😉 It should be a good Final 🙂 DH & I had hm soup for lunch - quite tasty but needed something so added 0.5 tsp of lazy chillies 🤞Dinner was the 2nd half of Wednesday’s Chinese for DH & DSis. I had fried egg sandwiches. Wudupa.
Forgot to mention the ‘rusty’ rain on Wednesday 😔 sadly not enough Saharan sand for a beach 😉😉 Paid the milkman before going to bed.
Friday is another bright, sunny but chilly day. I will be firming up the menu plan & then prepping vegetables for the freezer & ticking off a few tasks from my To Do list. I think 2 days in the TLC Carriage is enough 😉

TC77 xxxxxx self care this evening for you. Frogs will wait.Energy shifter I am quite ignorant about lent other than the basics. I was quite happy for you to mention it here. I admire your resolve. X
The roofers have just arrived so me in my glad rags didn’t put them off😏Awww I just heard them sing Happy Birthday to my neighbour. He is blind and his wife has stuck birthday banners in the window. Coincidentally It’s the guide dog’s birthday too. 🎂
I have done another coat on the outside loo door frame. As promised some before and after pics.:9 -
There was a massive stone wall to the left of the door. Waiting for my builder to lay some new old stone. Like waiting for Godot. Will keep you updated with renovations pics.Vx:10

Well the builder and his boy turned up but late today, (11am), dropped off some materials and a cement mixer, chatted to DH for an hour and drove off, so no work will get done till Monday now 😣 Perhaps I should have dressed in my finery too 💃 a la Vulpix 😊. To add insult to injury they hadn't ordered enough capping stones either, so I expect they'll collect them on their way here and be late again on Monday 😠 The builder's a lovely man and does a great job but he's very forgetful, he's even turned up without some tool or another before, so DH had to step in and lend him one of his 🙄
Anyway with no one to make an endless stream of teas/coffees for I pulled myself together and washed 2 loads of clothes, they were dried outside today in the sunshine, lovely. I turned over a border and pulled out all the naughty weeds, planted 3 new perennial plants and put the empty plastic pots in the recycling. I decluttered some leaves and several thin pieces of wood from the garden but my green waste bins are so full they had to be put in a rubbish bag for now. I found a large cardboard box in a shed that I'd forgotten about, so that's been cut up and is now in the recycling bag. Finally I sat in the sun on the patio, listening to the birds and had a lemonade with ice cream floating on top, such luxury 😁 Tonight I made cannelloni for tea but I used leftover wraps instead of pasta tubes and DH said he preferred them.
MrsSD have a huge hug especially for you 🧡
Hugs to anyone in need for any reason, I shall leave them in the TLC carriage.
Take care all

Hellooooo xx
Today has been a productive day. So I am creeping out of the TLC carriage to report a little progress 🙃
Several black bin bags worth of leaves have been decluttered from the pampas which was dwarfing the front garden. It was given a crew cut - removing about 6 feet in height. 🐸
I've dragged the old (broken) recliner to the side of the house and arranged a 'bulky collection' 🐸
I've replaced the light bulb in my bedroom 🐸 having unjammed the shed lock (🐸) so that I could retrieve my steps.
Two more bags have been added to the bag of bags, and a good sized bag put to one side - to be filled with 'stuff' for DS to take home.
Plans:
To go through all the coats on the coat stand and DS can take all of his the next time he calls. Ditto his suits which are hung on the back of the door to the RoD. Ditto the tent which has been living under the kitchen table.
Custard creams and jammie dodgers in the TLC carriage so I'm going back.
Take care

617. Shockingly overgrown eyebrows - waxed for the first time since eye surgery 6 months ago !!!
618. Knitted yet another beanie.
DS went out with a friend who is back from Uni - it was so nice to see him get out and about - it felt like normality again!
619. Sorted Vitamin D shot
620. Set up "new" laptop (I bought it a year ago a I was convinced my old one was about to give up the ghost but its still going)
Vulpix - love the door ! and thanks for the support around Lent - I never thought for a moment that anyone on here would think anything of it - it was just me overthinking when I read that article online...
TC77 - I hope you are not feeling too sore after your extraction
