2022 DECLUTTERING CAMPAIGN MrsSD

Been getting frogs done - including brushing Husky without getting knocked over and roommate putting in new doorbell. Went to my sister's house today to be there to let her dog out for a bit. Usually her sister-in-law comes home for lunch and lets the dog out while my sister is working, but sister-in-law is in Mexico to celebrate her birthday. Worked on creating a frog list in an old calendar - 1 space per frog, while I was there. I think this will help. It is a two-year calendar so using this year's part to list my four things to do each day. Will try to remember to update as I go. Today is trash day - three bags of kitchen trash out and one of old mail. No way I could count everything. Found a stack of old mail from before Christmas - got it cleared. It had been stuck underneath several books. Also took my final test for one of my computer classes. Need to fit the other class final in tomorrow - have to create a greeting card for my Publisher class. Making a birthday card for a roommate - cover two things at once. This is Book Sale week again already so will be working three days on the book sale - two to get ready and one for the sale. .10

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 5 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bedI have done nothing apart from clear loads of programmes from the TV planner & make dinner. DSis had bought a whole roasted chicken for her dinner Saturday night so we had cold chicken with roast potatoes & parsnips with broccoli and cauliflower from the freezer.

Morning Peeps,
@kscour -Splat a few frogs - I love it!
@bargainbetty Sorry I tittered at the FF deciding to work againI have never heard of that, clearly was the threat of being replaced. Glad that AO were very good about it too for you.
I have decluttered most of the Fudge I made the other daythat is not how its supposed to work but I have a very sweet tooth and once I start on it I can't stop. I need to make something I am not so keen on....
From the loft - a box containing 5 boxes of some tortaloni I had purchased from one of those cash and carry type stores that sell OOD produce that is still fit to eat. Just didn't like the flavour. Packaging recycled appropriately.
2 RH gloves ??
2 Very big (would have been expensive) cushions I purchased sometime ago that were pre owned so MSE. Why am I keeping them for best?
2 small cushions with fibre inserts recycled. All covers washed and placed with the 5 feather inners into bag to go back to the loft till next winter. Living room looks tidier again
Removed a piece of metal bar that was with the ex display wardrobe from the loft DH stopped me from taking it to the bin said he has a job for it to do. Its still in the kitchen this morning where he left it - it has a very limited time of remaining where it is before I get my hands on it
Piece of Justin wood was to make the trip into the loft DH says is no good for anything and can't be used on the fire, straight into the general waste bin. Wow that moved out fast.
Bin lads have been this morning to do the recycle bins, so there will be more of a focus this next week to find items to go into the general bin.
Thank you to you all for your journey updates of ups and downs

Thankyou MrSD
Rested a bit yesterday but generally did gentle movement. I emptied the car and cleaned the kitchen, brushed the stairs etc. generally low level movement.
I was hoping to clear the upstairs a bit as the plumber was coming to sort out the radiators today. I diidn't get to it so I was a bit embarrased about the mess. Mostly boxes along the landing and corridor to the bedroom with the offending radiator. He was able access all the radiators bar one easily so I am counting it as a win.
Today I am going to do some of that clearing anyway as it is due after which I will go for my shift at the CS. I will be careful with my back as it is still sore.
Have a great day everyone

Heya,
Sorry for no show in a while;
Still in training so it's been mentally draining at some points. Also, Remi has been blossoming into a 'proper dog'.
He's now enjoying walks and have been taking him out before work and after we finish work, which has been nice to get outside and spend time with both Remi and my husband.
AND Remi's now taught himself to do toileting outside (I'm ecstatic as I don't have to spend £30 on puppy pads each month or buy tons of kitchen roll now). One day he just pooped in the garden before a walk and tells us when he needs to go outside for toileting (he'll circle, wait or jump by the door or if he's desperate, he'd try climb into our laps frantically)
@Mrs_Salad_Dodger yeah i was thinking that as well.
I've managed to get on top of it but husband is looking at buying a washer/dryer and/or a heated airer to help.
Bless him i think he's now realised 'why' there's so much laundry... it's because things don't dry fast...even with my heater on in my office, it still takes around 5 days to dry off. But we're having a few sunny days so I've put out as much as I can and brought some more cleaning cloths/mop heads to ensure we have enough whilst others are drying
Anywhoo.
🧼Decluttering🧼- Almost at the end of the Mount Laundry Doom minus towels & bedding
- #28 - Broken dog toy
- #29 - Chew toy (unsafe now as remi's broken off bits from it)
- On top of house cleaning again
Remi loves the vacuum and tries to lick it / get it to play (drops his toys on it thinking it's another animal) - Pantry has been organised and emptied by husband , he does this each week now - takes pride in it
- My work desk has been semi-tidied
- Typed up half of my training notes ... seems never ending !
- Clean my keyboard but needs a cotton bud between the keys
- Most washing has been put away ; Remi was help by holding the socks and hangers for me (I gave a treat in exchange for the socks) PS; I don't encourage him to play with the hangers, I did some training with him to leave them but it was the first time he been with me whilst i was putting washing away so he was just exploring new things ... just to clear up
- Sauces and jars past expiry date were cleaned out and put in recycling

@accidentalglixch it’s so nice when woofers get old enough to tell you what they need.As a teenager my bedroom was above the backdoor, when our dog was frantic for a wee I used to wake up to insistent little yips from downstairs (rather than his big woof).I remember regularly wandering through the house in the early morning with my eyes half closed trying not to bang into things to let him out and then standing, freezing, on the back doorstep for him to come back in before I crawled back to bed. I must’ve loved that dog.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Started on the under stairs cupboard today (it's a big cupboard!). So far, everything has been removed, it's been hoovered, 1 bag of stuff has gone in the bin, a few smaller bags are ready for the CS and all the Christmas decorations and wrapping stuff are neatly packed into stacking boxes. Hoping to finish it tomorrow.11

Lots been going on.
@EnergyShifter sounds very positive DS doing more on the list than asked...I know recovery isn't a straight line but thinking of you and DS.
Hearing test okish but took trolley with CS bag to drop off on way back 389 and didn't even look at anything I might like (note not need) as heading back to work
More gardening, few bits out of DD2 room which still has suitcases, packaging , and odd bits mostly I'm not parting with 390 - 395
396 email been meaning to do for ages
Realise that things I like aren't popular on the selling sites but know cs will get some pennies and also the refugee project.
(4) Lewisham Donation Hub | Facebook will make use of things. Mrs SD was it you that asked for details of the project?
Also decluttered large amount of chocolate - egg shaped but definitely chocolate
