Morning Peeps,
hope you all had some sunshine over the weekend.
Oops long post
Been doing a bit during the week I need to declutter my time better I have spent a lot sat here in the outdoor poncho nice and warm which is encouraging me to remain on the tinternetI have learnt quite a bit so not a total waste of time. Clearly I have not written a to do list but have done it in reverse of what I have done. Hoovered up several times this week - don't worry its a bungalow and we have 2 hairy collies. Even managed under the bed twice (its a wooden floor) as tumble weed dog hair creeps in if they get too much time in there.
1 bag removed from the loft where 2 items were incomplete and were binned, I'm not looking for the bits they will turn up in time. 1 is to keep as it throws out tennis balls for the dogs to chase and the 1 left working will be going to a little boy in the next village who does a lot of charity sales he has his birthday very soon and will still be donation gathering for his next event.
A brass box has been removed to the loft with its contents of wires - we don't do wires - for now the wires will have to be Justins, I am sure there are some old mobile phone wires that I had sorted once. At least I will know where they will be. Binned a small bottle of nail oil well out of date, I have had for about 15 years and still not finished it!
Binned a small diary bunch of inserts. Also very brave of me to throw and not eat was some Tortillas that really didn't like me. Yep I generally still eat food that does that to me, I am working on this.
DH has decluttered the old nesting bird box from a tree at the back as it is falling to pieces. He has made a replacement from the Justins in the shed it looks fab all treated and is now high in the tree, there has been a lot of activity around it. The 2nd bird box on the same tree but lower was a present to my GD to paint and place up but she never got round to it, I decorated it last year. We thought it wasn't good enough yet when DH removed it the had been activity in it and the roof had all sorts of debris stuck to it. Turns out it had a leaky roofthat got repaired and has been placed back in situ.
@Baxtersmum love reading along
@tealady keeping those small bits of "TAT" or Justins moving definitely made me feel good again today its not about the size of declutter its anything that needs to go - its still decluttering.
You are all going a great job

Happy Monday everyone.Does it count as decluttering when the wind off the North Sea clears out the cobwebs? Our week away has definitely done us some good mentally and physically.Anyway after a week away, we've come back and I've listed a load of stuff on webay (sold 2 as well so a trip to the post office at lunch today). So finally getting back on track.Just 1 setback, now need to spend time filling holes ready to re-hang the curtain pole in our lounge for the 3rd time (we have the right rawl plugs, issue is the wall according to wife's BIL who knows his stuff).May you find your sister soon Helli.
Sleep well.10 -
Popping i to report nothing out. No progress but did have a lovely lunch with DD and Dh yesterday at a restaraunt using a voucher I got when I retired.
I have a fab bonfire at the allotment afterwards and moved some earth. I have made my backache worse now so am going to rest up from gardening things for a few days. The allotment has been a slow job for me but I feel its been worth it. The bitbybit approach definitely works if you can keep it up. For me sowing season starts after a week away holiday next week. I will be ready for it.
Today will be spent doing some routine cleaning, emptyiing the car of all sorts of stuff and giving it an inside clean. It has had all sorts in there this last week or two and no doubt there will be spiders and soil.
Have a great day everyone and hugs to all who need them.

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 5 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bedSunday was damp & dreary outside but the inside celebration lunch at DSis-in-law’s (M) favourite venue was sunshine all the way 🙂 Photo at one end of the tables with a glass of gin & a bottle of tonic - her favourite tipple 🙂 (set out as rectangle with space in the middle utilised as a play area by some of her great grandchildren 😉) All of M’s direct descendants (15) were there plus sister-in-law & her DH, DH & me, niece-in-law & her DH, great nephew-in-law & great great nephew-in-law so 23 of us in all 🙂 A lively lunch with delicious food, plenty to drink & well behaved children & babies 👏🙂 Lots of chat & reminiscing & another win for M - the beginnings of a reconciliation between some of her family members. Lunch lasted for 3.5 hours & was yet another wonderful reminder of a beautiful person. The in-law side of the family said their goodbyes & we returned to niece’s place for a coffee & to get changed. DH & I left at just gone 5:00 p.m. & we’re home by 6:15 p.m. Came into the house to a delicious smell of food - DSis was cooking onion pasta for our dinner - delicious 😋 I wultd. The unpacking, washing etc is Monday’s task 😉
Monday is currently dry & bright but with lots of white clouds & quite chilly.

@Mrs_Salad_Dodger, thank you for the medal, but I think I may have to return it! I woke up on Saturday, particularly grumbly due to the unexpected expenditure of the previous days, and thought I should probably start properly cleaning out the fridge freezer for collection/replacement on Monday.
Mopped up the last puddle of brown fluid that it had dribbled overnight, and then opened the freezer door to empty the unsalvaged bits to the bin. All frozen solid. The freezer was frozen again and the fridge was chilled.
Bl**dy thing somehow managed to dribble all over the kitchen floor, had an unplanned 48 hour holiday and has now gone back to work. I totally relate to it, I feel that way myself sometimes.
I called AO, they cancelled my order without any hassle and told me they'll be there if it goes on strike permanently.
I didn't tidy up as much as planned due to the lack of delivery need, but I did get a bundle of old papers shredded and returned the shredder to its owner. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

836-837: 100 emails
838-853: 16 GB data deleted
854: an easter egg (this is why I don't buy them, they're the first thing to get decluttered)
855-858: bags of rubbish, easter egg box filled with bits of card and paper and a couple of record mailers out.
859-889: the usual daily trawl of packaging and recycling including the usual LFT tests for work, empty shampoo bottle, trays from gluten free bread so it survives delivery...
Not back at work till Wednesday so going to do some more cupboard clearing tomorrow. Must book hairdressers and collect prescription.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
