productive day although it feels like I haven't made a lot of progress I've also ended up tackling shelves and filing that I've been ignoring for far too long
Decluttered 19 - 68 a varied collection of old ink cartridges, old chargers, cd cases, magazines, old diaries & software Just the usual random stuff that I have to own up to bringing with us when we moved in 18 months ago even though most of it wasn't actually wanted/needed
Getting there slowly! Unfortunately the sunshine has been replaced by rain and wind but it was nice while it lasted11 -
Hi everyone
Hugs to those in need, hope you rest up in the TLC carriage if it helps.
I've had a productive afternoon sorting out paperwork for one of my PT jobs, have shredded and recycled some papers and filed and organised some folders. Not a massive amount of decluttering but I feel like i'm getting organised with this role which i started 6 months ago and has been a pain in the proverbial from the start !
Put some random cardboard boxes in the recycling yesterday. Also took soft plastics to the recycling cage in t0sco.
Still decluttering emails & unsubscribing which feels like a losing battle.
Decluttered some hair at the hairdressers

On Thursday I was in one of our remote offices so took the work related confidential waste with me so that is no longer cluttering up the place
Tomorrow I shall be tackling the bedroom which has had a lot of stuff dumped in it and needs a tidy as a result.Hopefully I’ll be having a rejiggle
of the sheds and getting some compost decluttered into pots and some seeds sown. I might even get to the ironing hillock before it turns into a mountain.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Not much to report as to leaving the building except 2 empty delivery boxes have gone into the recycling bag and an empty faux leather filofax organiser, never used, into the cs bag. 2 T. shirts have been cut up and put in the rag bag as they've done their bit, being used first as going out/tidy ones, then used for wearing around the house and then as gardening/DIY ones. I decluttered a jigsaw today, hope that counts, took me about 2 weeks to finish it, it's now boxed up again ready for me to do another time. Today I have also emptied the ironing basket, woo hoo ! It's a job I hate but needs must as I was down to one pair of jeans and a pair of "best" trousers ( I had plenty of tops though ) I am presently cooking a roast chicken dinner with roasties, veg and gravy, mmmm 😋 I'm looking forward to it as it's a treat as now I don't want or need to use the cooker oven much. It's such a waste of space and gas, unless I can fill it, ( we're on diets so baking is a no, no ) so with only 2 of us I prefer to use the ninja or microwave. Tonight I shall watch the final episode of The Holiday, which I am enjoying and then that can be decluttered from the tv recordings.
Hope everyone is well, sincere hugs if not.
MrsSD hope you had a safe journey home.
Take care all
nanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently14 -
Think I finally broke the back of my office - not 100% sorted but as good as I can get until I catch and splat a few of the frogs hanging around
Dead Frog
8 - huge dumping ground on spare desk - gave birth to a few new frogs but mostly filed away/put away/binned
decluttered
69 - 105 old diaries, notebooks, instruction manuals etc etc
Hope the weather improved for you MrsSD and that everyone has had a good day11 -
@nannywindow I did the same with the ironing pile and had a beef dinner.
With DD in isolation I am looking to find things to do at home so we decluttered her clothes and have a massive pile to pass on. Means I need to replenish some summer clothes and school uniform. We will continue with her room tomorrow whilst I 'm also meant to be working.
Have a nice evening All x10 -

@bit_by_bit thank you.
Lost my note of numbers so will add another time
DD1 came round and took a box of her things and told me others things she doesn't want. Box counts as 10 (shoes, make up, other bits and pieces, and she also took a spare duvet 11, bedspread, earrings, and mirror, trinket in CS bag15, assorted make up box, paints, make up, old toiletries etc binned 20, garden digging 21, Rug sold and posted in packaging 23, ood food, dental stuff, 26, old note book, top in CS bag 28, electronic clutter, and some filing and paper declutter 30.
Still chaos but taking the view if chipping away even if in random places and things will start to make a difference.
Re-reading some posts and again a reminder of the lovely EDT that Mrs SD has created and how lovely all the passengers are, @Baxtersmum and @bargainbetty your words to everyone who has lost someone, has family events and traumas are just so appreciated by me and I know others. Hugs to you and all on the EDT and lovely to see new people joining. x
