Morning All,
very small spends on shopping so far this month as we have been decluttering stocks of vintage food. I found an item in the cupboard very old. I will find items of food so it can be put together and I will eat it. I won't subject DH to that, that's only because he doesn't like what it will make anyway.
I had to treble peg the washing out today but it made small work of drying the clothes, so all is now ironed and put away. Impressed with myself on that one
Thankfully the CS bag I had placed outside was collected, it was worrying me about being left and then having to drive to drop it off. (this also prevented me from spending money too)
Tonight will be LO takeaway so saving me some time.
Thoughts of those with memory events this week.

I haven't done so well since I last posted, suffered from some prolonged winter blues, but feeling much better now.
Had a clean and tidy over the weekend, sorted and put away a lot of clutter that had accumulated simply by virtue of being too tired to put it away in its rightful spot. But the house is looking much tidier and lots of cardboard has been decluttered that had built up.
Also decluttered a lot of blood for more tests, and money for epipens which have finally been prescribed to me. Fingers crossed the tests show what I'm allergic to, as the Dr is concerned it might be spontaneous - that is nothing actually sets it off, my body just decides to have an allergic reaction. Really hope it isn't that!
I suspect the cats are about to enter shedding season, so will need to make sure they are being groomed regularly to stop any hairballs 🤢
I have been following along though, and so many people are making excellent progress it is encouraging when you've spent time in the TLC carriage to get back on the wagon.11 -
8/52 - unwanted hair removal cream binned and packaging recycled.
9/52 - shampoo freebie used up.
10/52 - bra and pants to the bin.
11/52 - DH shifted 3 pairs of boxers to the bin.11 -
Not so much decluttering done today.
All the stuff from our holiday a few weeks ago has been packed up so 3 suitcases can go up into the loft when OH gets home from work. That will make the living and dining rooms look clearer!11 -

Lovely day here - very early start to do school run. A bit bored so I decided to take myself to favourite antiques centre for a mooch round. Pleased to report £1 spent only (old postcard of interest) except for my lunch but it was nice to be out in the sunshine. Got back in time to cut grass and get washing in (dry) before it clouded over.

Hello all, I collected Dad's meds today as he had missed the delivery yesterday, then spent 3hrs at his house looking for an illusive insurance policy taken out on him in 1935 (he's 93 this year) by his mother. Dad, DH and myself checked the unit in the "best" room and every tin/envelope/ scrap of paper had to be double checked by Dad, he had 9 large biscuit tins full of papers 😱 We disposed of about 30 instruction manuals for items he no longer had and loads of receipts for items dated from 2001-2007 (there's still plenty left to check!) I managed to pry from him a mini trivial pursuit game and a boxed set of 10 horror DVD's, which are now all in the cs bag. He had 100's of DVD's ( 2 shoeboxes full + extras ) which he had collected from the daily papers, but wouldn't part with them even though he doesn't want them 😠
I have brought back home a Royal Doulton crystal fruit bowl ( still boxed, the box is now in the recycling bag ) which I have washed and I will put to use (the stainless steel one I have now will be washed and be put in the cs bag ) I found a gold bracelet still in it's box belonging to my late Mum and as I already possess her matching watch both are now together in the same box at my house. I also came home with his Will as I didn't want to be searching again for that when the time comes. It is presently with mine here and DD knows where they are kept. No luck on finding the insurance policy though 😒 My goodness I'm going to have a long hard slog on my hands when the inevitable occurs if the rest of the house is the same. It's going to be much more of a task than I'd ever imagined ( If I don't go first that is, you never know what the future holds) Sorry for long post, it turned into an essay 😲
Out from my house the daily detritus, plus an ice cream tub, a coffeemate tin, a diffuser container and it's reeds.
Take care all, hugs to everyone in need. Special hugs to MrsSD and family and TC77
Energyshifter take your time in the TLC carriage and I hope the cold gets better asap.
FooFooPuppy those winter blues can quickly get you down, I know I've been there myself. Hugs
