Took temporary roommate to work. Then took a friend to the doctor (took three hours, but she did feed me breakfast). Managed to get a bag of old medicines to the recycling place (about twenty containers of medicine we are no longer using). And got the movable shelves set up for our next book sale (we have eleven of these, that hold about 300 books each). Even paid most of the bills for March. Spent the evening working on helping someone do Peruvian research at our Family History Center. Now I just need to unwind. Get to go help someone with English research tomorrow.10

Morning all,
Chopped up the bread for the birds - we didn't like the idea that Sainsbob's had of creating a hot cross loaf, they however loved it.
Pulled out some dead plants from the very stony boarder and straight into the bin. Looks a lot tidier now. Filled the bird feeders.
The flags we have down will need a quick blow over with the pressure washer to reduce to algae that thinks its staying here. I would have used soda crystals like my grandma used to do on her stone mullion topped walls. We do generally remove/recycle over the fence where there is a dyke and have been building up the sides to prevent more flooding in our back garden. There are a few bushes that are doing well there and the area is very busy with birds. DH cut the lawn, they moaned how soft the ground was
HM rhubarb crumble & custard followed the store cupboard pancakes, full bellies yum yum.
Living room got treated to a dust and polish. 2 speakers were taken from the wall and placed straight into the bin. DH was letting Justin sneak in so he could have double the amount of speakers in the shed, Justin lost
Letter rack got emptied of most stuff and items placed where they should be or were shredded. (Even let some birthday cards go that had been there 3 years nearly)
The ironing got done and all items put away - didn't seem to take that long and there was 2 piles of it! DH WUDUPA and cleaned the top of the cooker, looks lovely now
Hoovered up and more items were moved to the CS bag and 3 items went straight into the bin.
House is looking a little more straighter
There is amongst all this a FROG that is the items that NEED to be listed to generate a recycling of some pennies.
Off out today with my Little sister so have saved some space on the TLC carriage, we will have a lot to catch up on so would be too noisy on thereespecially where peace is needed.
@mothernerd hope you are well
Hugs to those who need it.
Stay safe

@EnergyShifter . I think giving up Nzflix is a great idea. I don't do lent but I am addicted to korean dramas.
Congrats on the all clear
So I spent all of yesterday working on my sister's finances. I have a long list of small taks now to finish off. looks like I stopped in my tracks in June last year.
Got a list of printing to do today and letters to send.
Going to see DS1 and wife and baby today. I haven't seen them since January as DiL is a bit prickly and we are still recovering from a fallout in October. Nearly there.
Before I go out I will declutter the printing and tidy up the mess I made sorting through papers. Have a good day everyone

Hello all, sorry I fell off the train this week 🤨 and succumbed to buying 2 Yank** candles ( well they were in the sale ) and a new jigsaw, from our local garden centre. I didn't pay though as DH swiped his card first 😘 but then I had bought the coffees ! We like to use this centre as it's only a small independent one.
Yesterday I got back on the EDT and used up a lot of sad veg in a Mediterranean Chicken dish, so the garlic, a sprouting onion, wrinkly tomatoes and peppers have now gone, then cooked some party food from the freezer that was supposed to be eaten at xmas, but as usual I bought too much....... and there's still some more to cook 🙄 Dad came over for the day for lunch and tea and took most of the leftovers home with him so that should keep him fed for a few more days. We sorted out his council tax as he now thinks every letter ( and phone call ) he receives is a scam. I have emptied all the bins from upstairs and put a plastic milk carton, an ice cream tub and the plastic sleeve from some frozen doughnuts which were pudding yesterday, into the recycling. 4 cardboard party food boxes also went into the cardboard bag.
The local volunteer centre for Ukraine has been inundated with items and have stopped collecting at present, the lorries which will leave on Sat are choc a bloc. Hopefully they can get more lorries as they still have a lot more ready to go and people are still collecting. I hadn't even started to sort anything, gosh I'm so slow 😧 Programme planner has had about 150 recorded tv episodes deleted, I seemed to have collected 111 ghost programmes ! Emails read and deleted.
Bit by Bit hope today goes well at DS's. BTW I'm watching Sisyphus as I am another fan of Korean productions.
take care all, hugs to anyone in need.

Hello fellow declutterers
Hope you're all well on a rainy and overcast day in the North West.
I'm battling on with the paperwork and assorted other things, my list is steadily growing, not shrinking unfortunately, but I won't let that put me off. I'm determined to sort the house out this year.... I've eaten a frog today - and very tasty it was too - some financial stuff which has been hanging around for far too long is now done and dusted. It only took me two hours to do it, I've wasted endless hours procrastinating about it, why!!! My progress is below, sorry if the lists are boring but it keeps me on track.

Working from home today, but at lunchtime stretched my legs to post box to send repeat prescription and also transferred some money from current account into my ISA before end of tax year is upon me. I may be sailing a bit close to the wind with how much I have left in current account for next month or so, time will tell. I am focusing on decluttering tasks rather stuff for a little while as, like others here, I have quite a few stacked up!
