5 of the 8 items on my Frog List done. Rest will be done tomorrow. Started moving dishes out of young roommates' room with some help from her father (very little). Way over 50 dishes and miscellaneous tableware so far. Plus a bag of cans and bottles. We will be working on filling up a couple more bags tomorrow. She is going to be doing dishes all evening.9

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 5 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bedFriday has been another dark, damp day. The only task I have dealt with today is my post. I finished the last of the hm soup for lunch. Dinner was hm cottage pie with sweetcorn. Have enough meat mix left to bag & freeze for another meal & enough cottage pie for tomorrow’s dinner with lots of vegetables. I have spent the day watching TV (clearing down planner) & nodding off at the drop of a hat 😔 Wudupa.348 - 351 Kitchen recycling, newspaper, 0.5” paperwork, booklet - recycled

weenancyinAmerica, you must be so pleased that your roommates are starting to help 🙂 Hopefully they are beginning to realise that decluttering helps with their mental health & more to the point it makes you happy 😃 With any luck maybe one or two of them might help with the communal areas 🤞Hope you have had a successful Frog Friday 🙂
Unfortunately not wool Gem-gem just yarn ☹️ I will pop round to share your Quality Street - I like the toffees 😉😉

@weenancyinAmerica - your post reminded me of a visit many years ago to my DS1's student digs. We had gone for DH to fix his computer for him. The entire place was literally covered with dirty washing up, empty pizza boxes, crisp packets etc - you get the picture. There was nowhere to sit and nothing to put a cup of tea in. Our dog thought is was great and sniffed happily amongst the carnage. DH spent 4 hours on computer and I spent the same washing up and filing black bags with rubbish. That was just the communal areas and our son's room. A few house mates did appear sheepishly with items from their rooms. I had wondered what I would do whilst DH worked on computer. Then being kind parents we took DS1 our for a meal.
I have a zoom meeting this morning and the company of DGS4 - he is nearly 7 so not sure how that will go whilst meeting is on.

550. Day 3 of Lent pledge completed. This has been the first time in my adult life that I've taken Lent seriously - and it's harder than I thought it'd be - but I think its meant to be isn't it otherwise what's the point....
Thanks for your good wishes Accidental & Mrs SD
Weenancy - Your post reminds me a little of flat sharing in my student days but I don't think even the worst offender had as much as that in their room! Your roommates are very lucky to have you - you must have incredible reserves of patience & kindness.
Granny Kate - What a lovely kind thing to do for your DS & his flatmates !
Mrs SD - What an impressive Yarn stash!!!

- Broken chair to the tip
- Bag of metal ikea spares to tip also
What an absolute belter of a day, I’ve got the patio doors open and washing on the line, I love days like this, lifts your spirits a bit of sunshine. 🌞
Up at 6:15 with the pup who is now sleeping through the night in her cage, she wakes about 6ish for the garden then straight back up to bed for a cuddle with me until about 7:30, she’s also getting used to the outside noises now so not everything sets her off on a panic bark. It’s definitely getting easier.
I feel like I’m getting in to a routine, I have ME so very tired all the time and sometimes the tiredness is unexpected but I’ve started sleeping in 2 hour chunks when the pup does which has made me feel level of late. I got a breed that sleeps a lot for this reason, she’s like me, a sloth cross 🦥

Deep breath and out from lurking behind the curtains I come!!! This thread has already helped me start to get my head together and get sorted around here but hopefully now I've posted I will have the push I need to do more and keep coming back.
At the moment we are living in our lovely new house but the outside is still to be finished, there's a garage being built which will give us the storage we need (we have bedrooms in the attic space so storage is very limited) and meanwhile I guess I have just got bogged down with everything and I manage to do nothing for great periods of time whilst avoiding what really needs doingSo no more!!!!
Today I'm starting on my office (aka dumping ground) and hoping to eat of few of the many frogs hopping around this place. I shall report back later13 -
