Well that was a long day mostly powered by coffee and determination
so

8 - old notebook with passwords and random scribblings (at least 15 years old and it turns out only 8 current passwords were in there all of which were already in my new password book - why had i kept it???)
Dead frogs
2 OH credit card bill all matched up, business expenses sorted and paid
3 Sorted all our personal expenses for this year against statements and onto spreadsheet
4 Filed away last years receipts and bills
5 Teeny frog as I sorted elec bill and readings but can't sort online account until tomorrow when they are available - still a weight of my mind taking meter reading though! Why do I let these things fester???

Weekend was a little busier as we cleaned most of the house & Kitchen is looking good!
Is do-able now Remi is older, learning to pre-occupy himself & we give him frozen 'kong' toys.
🧼Decluttering round up🧼
#19 - A few bits of rubbish on the mantlepiece#20 - Pencil case#21- 2 egg cups#22- Amazon boxes into recycling box that's been hanging about for weeks on end#23 - Remi's last tea towel ... ripped to shreds when i used it for hiding kibble#24 - Ball of Fluff#25 - Chewed up USB stick ... Remi got hold of it after it fell out my pocket in his playpen, I didn't realise until i saw the electronic bit. Not mad, just happy Remi spat all pieces out to be honest#26 - Old water bottle. Forgot it was on the mantlepiece from 2 months ago...
Hoping to sort out my 'office/laundry drying room/boxes of our stuff room' soon, hard to do as None of our stuff has been unpacked since we moved in November last year . Getting harder to move in there, it stresses me out a lot since that's where I work. Hoping to sell a bunch of stuff too.
Laundry back to square 1 ; did loads of laundry this weekend, hung up on clothesline outside, going well then it collapses and covers pretty much everything in sloppy mud & where my heater hasn't been on since Friday ... the stuff on the airer in the spare room is still wet. We can't ge a tumble dryer as they don't make any small enough to go under our "hide-away" cupboards in the kitchen. Husband doesn't want a tumble dryer placed randomly in the house either so it's been difficult 😭😭🗑️Mission Declutter & Clean 2022🧼 - 105 Items

Evening All, not a great deal of decluttering unless you count £180 on Mot and work needed for car to pass. Saw UB40 on Friday night with OH, mum, stepdad and MIL. Grampy was on babysitting duties. Then at a farm park with friends yesterday and the allotment today. Popped into shop for bread and milk, £40 later, including 2 pairs of shoes for dd (half price) and a reduced costume for world book day next year.
Recycling went out, we fill them every week and have to cram it in. We have recently changed to two bags plus a glass bin. In addition to food bin, black bin and garden waste bin! On a plus our black bin waste has reduced. I also recycle all the soft plastic at a supermarket and a load of things under the Tetra scheme.
Frogs this week
- sort old paperwork and file or shred
- list old buggy on fb for free.
- Book a tip trip
-sort work files and notebooks currently on dining room floor.
- renew daughters passport
- ensure OH has all everything sorted for his holiday with his eldest 2.
- check energy bill following submission of meter readings.

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 5 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bedRather sheepishly pokes her round the corner 😔 did nothing from my To Do list on Sunday 😔 Dinner was pork medallions in a creamy mustard sauce with mash & frozen mixed vegetables 😋 The pork unlike the veal last week was melt in the mouth tender 🙂 Wudupa. Watched an hour or so of the Paralympics - the athletes are astonishing 👏
359 - 360 Kitchen recycling, metal coffee tin - recycled
361 Kitchen detritus binned
Monday is a bright, cloudless, sunny day but bitterly cold. To make up for my sloth I have immediately dealt with a rather concerning letter from my bank. The highlight being “There has been no activity on your savings account 1234…., interest doesn’t count as activity, so the account will be frozen” Fortunately the account they were referring to was empty 😉 I phoned the bank, closed the account & then transferred some cash from my current account to the savings account that does have money but no activity 😉 Relief all round.
I will try to do better today 🤞DH has just fed the worms & used his new toy to aerate the compost bins 🙂
I had been wondering the same thing, bit_by_bit 😉 - I had visions of paper plates & plastic cups 😅 Excellent sorting & decluttering 👏 what a lovely idea to visit DB3 as a reward 🙂 plus a blank canvas for gardening 🥳weenancyinAmerica I am very impressed 👏 You are martialling your ‘troops’ aka roommates & getting the decluttering done 👏 As you are still doing the bulk of the work & using so much energy to get your roommates to help, I am awarding you a 2nd Gold Star ⭐️Good work EnergyShifter, especially dealing with the backpack frog 👏kscour - I love it “a long day mostly powered by coffee and determination” and wow you have been productive 👏 I am especially impressed by dealing with ‘festering’ frogs 😉 so you have earned your first medal 🏅- excellent work 👏accidentalglixch what a busy & successful weekend 👏 Not being a pet owner I had to look up Kong toys - what a brilliant idea especially as it is keeping Remi entertained 🙂 So sorry to hear about the washing disaster 😢 The only idea I can offer is to ask if you have a launderette nearby - if yes, perhaps you can re wash the laundry & then take it to the launderette to dry. As a one off solution it could get you back on track with your laundry whilst the washing line is being sorted out.Fizz2015, keeping up to date with daily recycling & dealing with rubbish & soft plastics is decluttering 👏 Good luck dealing with your frogs 🍀Good work florianatwobob 👏
Excellent work GrannyKate 👏Well done on tackling a 2 year old frog, marrob 👏 one medal 🏅 coming your way 🙂 Excellent decluttering especially the 2lbs weight loss 👏MrsSD 🏅🏅🏅🏅 🌟 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️I AM A STAR 🌟
