4/52 - a used up candle from a wedding favour gift out. I'm a bit miffed with myself that I didn't attempt something to reuse the jar but done now. I've taken a note to investigate for next time.

5/52 - 1 pair of socks out. DH has also thrown out 9 socks (1 pair and 7 partnerless individual ones).

6/52 - a broken glass out.

Day off work today after a weekend trying to help Sis with her problems. I'm worn out and a cluttered house looks like small beer now. Already ate lunch for lack anything else urgent to do, it was cauli cheese. Couple of bathroom bottles emptied and out, last big piece of poly now taking up space in the bin but not in the house. I think that's 17 things out so far. Not brilliant is it.

Mrs S_D you and your family have my sympathies, hopefully it wil be as easy as these things can be.

Still having our floor done, but we have decided nothing is going back in our lounge unless it will live there properly. If it is a pain in its current home, it needs to go.

Sold a bedspread my wife got on her travels many years ago that is still in very good nick. Haven't told the eldest cat yet as my wife had it on her bed when it was just them and it is her way of knowing things are okay after a move (mainly because we don't expect to move again in her lifetime as she is 18 in April).

I'm still decluttering paper and various things from my "office", now up to 235 things binned, shredded or recycled.

Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts, wishes & prayers. My wishes are that M’s passing is peaceful & pain free & that my DH gets the opportunity to say goodbye (he was a late baby so M has been in his life for nearly all of his 60 years) 
A wonderful strong, loving lady who adores her family & will be missed by all who are lucky enough to know her.

Mrs SD, palliative care nurses (and doctors) are very special people. They will take excellent care of your SiL and allow her to maintain her dignity and live as she wishes. Your SiL and what she wants will be at the centre of all decisions.
