1. Write a daily To Do list - only 5 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed“Another day of not doing much. Getting to be a habit” especially now that the Winter Olympics are on 😔 So 2 weeks of doing no decluttering 😱😬 Oh well, never mind 😉
Saturday was a damp, dreary day. Bowl of hm soup for lunch then a fish’n’chips dinner (delivered) 😔 I did do the washing up 😉 I forgot to mention that DH’s Sis-in-law (80 year old) is in hospital - thankfully NOT Covid. She has a lung infection & kidney problems but is thankfully now on the mend 🙂 Because of the Covid situation, hospital visiting time is one hour per day with just one visitor ☹️ Her daughters have set up a rota but DH is not on it. However, if someone cannot make their visit for whatever reason DH needs an hour’s notice & will be able to get to the hospital so that sis-in-law does get a visitor 🙂
204 - 205 Kitchen recycling & detritus
Thanks for the information re hospital go bag Vascodakarma 👏vulpix, sounds like an absolute treasure trove no wonder it hurt to walk away 😔☹️ I know I am supposed to be encouraging decluttering but how often do you get the chance to acquire quality items for free 🙊 However well done for recommending a reclamation yard 👏 Sorry to hear that DD1 is so poorly 🤒 fingers crossed that she stays negative 🤞

Nice to see you roundtuit 👋 Great work on quietly getting on with your decluttering 👏 You are winning & well done on releasing your DS’s documents 😉 One medal 🏅 coming your way for the excellent work on giving easy access to the boiler man 👏 I think ‘relief’ is a good word to describe clearing floor space 😉No forgiveness needed vulpix 🙂 You are keeping beautiful items in your life & you know that DD1 loves them as well 👏 Would you consider moving to Shetland 😉Thrifty_Taylor, hopefully the stormy weather in Orkney hasn’t caused too much damage 🤞Excellent decluttering 👏

Hi all
I have cleared a corner of kitchen worktop that breeds paperwork and other detritus. Either filed or binned and area given a good clean. I have half a bag of stuff for CS gradually collected from various nooks and crannies, a few books, a few CDs, a pair of heels I won't wear again. Will keep adding until full, then it can go.
Thrown everything into the pot for a veggie chilli, so that can simmer for a bit. It has been blowing a gale here all day so not ventured further than the bird feeders. Helped DD pick out a basic savings account with a paltry interest rate but she doesn't want to leave all the earnings from her little job in her cashcard account and can only put £200 a month into her HTB ISA. She is like me with money, always stashing a bit away here and there. Anyway, that's ticked off the list.
I might see if I can find a little frog to tackle after tea. Back to work tomorrow and a busy week ahead. OH has gone to meet DS to watch their team in FA Cup, they'll be having a great time as they are currently winning 4-1.

Miracle happened - roommate brought dishes out of her room. Unfortunately our dishwasher isn't working (would have taken two loads!). So I ended up doing dishes - took several rounds. But we have forks and spoons and plates again. Fortunately we had finished having the plumber out - last week the drains backed up in the kitchen.
Car still isn't working. Had it towed in last week - for the fourth time. Same young man as the last three times - getting to be old friends. They called to say it was ready - but by the time my sister took me there, the battery had already drained itself and it was dead again. Hoping they will be able to find the problem. Public transportation is terrible here unless you are a visitor going from the hotels to Disneyland.
Two other roommates claim they are going to clean up the kitchen - I'll believe when I see it.
Got some things out of the house after trying to find the cat who went missing on Friday. Took all day of moving things around to finally find her under a chair in the living room - she probably couldn't figure out how to get out. But got rid of trash in the process.
We've been going from from one problem to another all week - car being towed twice in one week, plumbing problems, missing cat, and I fell and bruised my ribs (may have broken one), and injured my shoulder. Hoping for a better week coming up.10 -
three weeks and no decluttering but I can't find the energy and when I can it is too dark and cold so all I end up doing is snuggling down with a book or the tv. I've decluttered 4lbs this week so at least something is going well. keep on people you are doing well.DF by 2023 No 17 £1,644 /£6000 Total debt £18,000 at the start of DFW Journey. 201814TH JULY 2021 DEBT FREE now in control365 1p challenge No 4913

Hope you're ok @weenancyinAmerica, sending hugs. I took a lander at work on Friday. Was chasing a pupil, trying to prevent an altercation. As I ran round a corner, a 5 year old was coming the other way. I knocked her over, landed on top of her, skinning my cheekbone on the tarmac & hurting my hand. Have just discovered a big bruise on my knee too. Nothing broken thankfully, pupil ok too & not pancake thickness, after me squashing her!!
Take things easy this week until you feel stronger again xUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

If only I did have tips in finding a good cleaner for the oven. I’m currently trawling the local f@cebook pages for recommendations! For preferences I’d rather have eco friendly options though because a) I cook in the oven and b) it’s better for the environment.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Decluttered two tubs of red currants out of the freezer and made 8 small jars of redcurrant jelly. That will be six for me and two for Mum. have asked them to do go bag each for the hospital.
Mecdicines and prescription sheet. SiL has her meds in pop out pods pre made up and all the labels that would go on a box are on the pack. It was hard for me to make out when she was taking some of them though. Contact details and special info like communication issues.
So pretty much what others ahve said. Its a work in progress at the moment.
@vulpix sorry Dd so unwell. hope she recovers enough before she goes to handover. You are very luck with your recent haul of stuff.
I have beenaway for a few days to family in Porstmouth. A family gathering for a birthday in Bournmouth. I drove 550 miles plus in all and was glad to get home. Before I left I dropped 4 bags in at the CS and 4 bags of soft plastics into Tsco recycling. Just counting the CS bags so no up to 13/100 bags for 2022.
I picked up a kiddie bed for the spare room on Friday. I will construct it and make it up tomorrow and finish the final bags of stuff in there. Happy when it is done as I have loads to do over on the allotment. I am almost hoping it rainsWife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor. From my files: Idea for cleaning oven: sprinkle on baking soda; add a little warm water to white vinegar; sprinkle on top of baking soda (it bubbles); leave overnight, wipe clean next day; not necessary to heat oven.
