Definitely drawn in by the handsome cat photos!
I've been lurking all through January, but have been inspired by the posts on here to get some frogs eaten. This week, two broken chairs, a sheet of glass and a bag of small old electricals all went to the tip, two unbroken but surplus chairs went back to Ikea under their buyback scheme and I have three bags of clothes, books and bits for the CS. I've got a second hand torso mannequin coming (which I will then resell) to sort out some expensive clothing for direct sales, and I've been fighting my way through the grocery use-ups too. There is space... I see floor space!
It needs hoovering.
Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

Hello Mrs SD and fellow declutterers
Lovely cat photosMy little friend was PTS last year and I miss him still.
I've been busy this week, still working on clearing my "office" of unnecessary paperwork, plus some unneeded "tat" also going. I'm going to start on making some seat covers on Saturday, so that'll keep me busy for a little while, all part of the decluttering journey as the fabric and the seat pads have been loitering in the spare bedroom for some time ....
Anyway, I'm now up to 209 items gone and the office is definitely looking clearer, at last...167. Last week’s papers recycled

Lovely cat Vasco. I was conned into 3 Guinea pigs in the past. Currently we have 2 cats who were DD2’s. The cat sanctuary said they had to come together. They barely tolerate each other 😼😾.I have acquired 2 Victorian doors and a cast iron sink stand and bench ends. They will be used in the refurbishment of the cottage. The donor was emptying his Dads garage. A cautionary tale. The place was stuffed full. A rotten job for the guy to sort out.Today I have bagged up 20 bags of rubble from the dismantling of a stone wall. 10 taken to the tip. The rest for another day. The stone stacked for re use when the back yard is done. I have also man handled a huge amount of garden pots out of the way of the roofers. Sanded the small pine stool too. First time I have properly been outside this year.Vx:13

428 & 9 - 2 x neck warmer/mask things
My Charity Shop restraint deserted me today - I bought a lovely teal Whistles dress - I know for sure I will wear it a lot - works for my "now" life rather than one of the fantasy ones I've been known to buy for - but I promised myself that I would do a "one in one out" on clothes so will need to chose something to go - I'll do that tomorrow.
430. Packed away fairy lights
431. Caught up with case notes
432. Binful of shredding
433-439 - 7 x items from DS' room (4 bin/recycling - 3 CS)

Another gold star, thank you @Mrs_Salad_Dodger 😀
@Vascodakarmayour cat is beautiful!
Thank you @charlies_tribewe’d paid for so many more months than we had budgeted for, giving notice was the only way to make sure we devoted the time to getting it sorted! Painful but worth it in the end. Happy Birthday 🎂, I think it’s important to too much birthday cake, especially if it’s an important birthday 😃
No decluttering to report, I’m still poorly with COVID (day 11) and DH is struggling to juggle work and keeping the littles fed and with clean school uniform, let alone tidying up !

Just a quick post as just climbed in bed. Spent this morning asleep on the sofa after not sleeping last night. Then decluttered a huge frog, first counselling assessment over the phone. DD1 came after her midwife appointment, I haven't seen her for 3 weeks due to covid so lots of catching up done.
I've had a bag posted for clothes for charity, I'm tempted to put all 6 bags out so it's gone instead of waiting for DH to take them.
