1. Write a daily To Do list - only 5 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bedTuesday was a lovely sunny day with a glorious coloured purplish reddish sky as the sun went down 🙂 I did some batch cooking - cottage pie mix & cheesy mash. Made one large cottage pie tonight - had half with green beans from the freezer, will have the other half tomorrow. Have enough meat mix & cheesy mash for a 2nd large pie but will bag & freeze (in the garage freezer 😉) Retrieved some lo apple & rhubarb crumble from the kitchen freezer which I warmed up in oven & added some double cream. See I said I was determined to empty kitchen freezer 😉 The only other thing I did was sort today’s post. My GUAG is having an extended holiday at the moment 😉 Wudupa.

Hi all, absolutely nothing done today apart from a load of washing and a small shop. The wind managed to keep me awake for hours last night so I dozed a lot today.
@short_bird, yes that occurred to me today
@vulpix, good luck with the roofers
I remember when my niece was having an extension built on top of her ground floor extension which was her kitchen and bathroom and the builders had to take off the existing roof. Every time she needed the bathroom she had to shout up to them so they would not be looking down on her, she said it hadn't occurred to her that the ceiling would also be goneIt was worth it in the end though as they added an extra bedroom and an upstairs bathroom to their original small 2 bed cottage. When they moved to the Caribbean they made a very healthy profit as well.
Take care everyone9 -
@MrsSD - it’s never going to happen. After having a houseful of kids for 2 and a half decades, I love my space more than ever. I could never put up with anyone else’s stuff - i’ve got things just the way I like them 😂😂

Out: 1 holey pair of pants, 7 children's books to a friend with a toddler, 1 old bra. It's slow going, lots of obligations, dd13 being a teenager, grey weather not helping.I've been told my company will probably cease to exist in 2030 instead of 2036 (we arrange for government subsidies in a certain field; there are less candidates than originally thought, based on not-thorough-enough first research). I'll be 59 then, so what will I do? Not urgent yet, but if I want to get additional training, now would be a good time.Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.599

I had a load of stuff leave yesterday for the tip (my Dad took it this morning):
22 loads of metal poles – framework from my old sofa
23 large back cushion from old sofa
24 large side piece from old sofa
25-28 Bags of shredded paper
29 bag of glass jars / bottles
30 bag full of soft plastics (mostly the mail bags from deliveries, which I know I probably won’t ever re-use)
31 Bag of other general bits of flotsam I managed to grab eg broken back rest
32 bagful of old uni notes etc to parents recycling bin (mine is completely full already from my decluttering)
33 bag of yarn to my Mum – I have a couple of crochet projects I’m already working on which will see me through this year I imagine, so I’ve passed other bits on to her as she’s planning to knit or crochet gloves for a local charity to distribute. I did check she wanted them before I just left it and told her to donate if she decides she really can’t / won’t use it up!
I’ve prepared my Dad for a charity shop trip on Friday, as I have a load of stuff to go already – he really enjoys doing this for some reason. It works well for me, as in the past I’ve sorted stuff for charity, but it’s never left – having someone who is happy to actually take things to the tip and charity shop means things do leave before I have chance to change my mind!
I’ve also inspired my Mum to do a bit of decluttering – she’s donated a load of craft books to the local scrapstore and others to charity, and is planning to clear out more things. It’s clearly very contagious!
I’ve also tackled a couple of frogs this week, which is a bit of a weight off.
There are some spaces starting to open up in my flat – it’s the weirdest thing how I’d obviously gotten used to the clutter, and now (particularly when I get up, or come home from somewhere) I am surprised by the clear spaces. I’m also finding bits and pieces everyday that can go straight into the charity box, almost as though I’m now seeing them for the first time and wondering why on earth I have them!

My clutter triggers are clothes, craft materials and stationery (mostly pens and notebooks). It feels as though a lot of it is weighing me down, and I've got to the point where I just want to get rid of it and have a more 'grown up' house at long last.Surviving the ups and downs of life with DH

Afternoon all. Not much to update as been really quiet over the weekend. Covid has finally left the house and all the kids back to school.
Great work on the unit StickyTheStickInsect, we've still got a few loads to go after covid stopped us mid empty, we've not given notice yet though, we've actually tried to pay since beginning of jan as take it out in cash, and heard nothing, we've got quiet a few months to pay too.
Over the weekend I did declutter my 40th birthday and way to much cake that I've probably put last week's weight loss back on.
I've also made some horrible phonecalls that I've been putting off for months.
The bag of shoes has finally left the house, still feel guilty I couldn't do anything but throw them.
