Oh I’ve never played angry birds - best I don’t start lol I had to stop Sims last year because I was wasting too much time on it.

@Baxtersmum any tips re eBay? Any random suggestions of stuff to put on etc , I’ve got 15 things listed at the mo, only 1 with a bid on currently and 1 sold last week. Got a big bag of stuff to add - just find it difficult to keep up the momentum if there’s not much interest :-/

Sorry I’ve not posted for a while, we have had a bit of a crisis , but everything is now resolved

15. 2x hand soap plungers 

16.Pair of holey socks 

17.Root spray used up

18.Broken nail clippers

19.Dressing gown cut up for rags 

20. Male grooming products gifted to DD’s BF 

21.Broken Conch shell 

22.Old toothbrush, 

23. Packaging from batteries , batteries all sorted and dead ones ready to go to recycling

24.Vitamin tablets last couple taken 

25. Run out Highlighters 

I have a long way to go, but I’m fully back on track again now, you will be seeing a lot more of me …. If that’s ok

I put absolutely everything on eDay as a first resort, if it doesn’t sell after the first couple of relistings I just leave in a box in my bedroom and try it again in a few months.
Everything goes on at 99p 50p or 10p with the cheapest postage. It all usually goes. My sister runs a charity shop and they don’t put out more than 1/3 of the donations they get, some gets sold as clothing by weight, some goes to landfill so I’ve got the mindset that I’d rather list something even if it’s broken rather than it go to landfill.
If you give an honest description and use all 12 photos you won’t go far wrong, sometimes with more expensive items I’ll add signed postage as I’ve been ripped off a few times by people saying they haven’t received the item, I usually if I feel it’s not an honest claim put the same item into search alerts and have found the buyer listing the item they said wasn’t delivered a few months later, I’ll challenge them about it and the usually send the item back.
Random things I’ve sold 

• Ripped dolls dresses, state they need repair
• Opened partial packets of seeds
• Opened tassimo pods when we haven’t liked the flavour
• Brand bags and packaging
• Used concert tickets
• All the packaging and broken bits of LOL dolls
• Broken sylvanian families toys
• Used sharpie pens
• Old magazines
• Part balls of wool
• Fabric remnants 
• A colouring book where I’d started the first page
• 1 sandal
• Free makeup samples
• The dogs old jumpers and coats
• Used makeup where you’ve tried it but not liked it so box it up as a bundle
• Childrens erasers they get free with things
• All the kids out grown socks 
• Broken Christmas ornaments (one sold for £18! Still in shock)
• Old modems, cables, wires, broken remotes etc

I figure if someone bids on it even if it’s broken then they really want it and it will get used, which makes me so much happier than it going into landfill. 

Even if I only make 2p on a 10p listing is money into my little savings pot, it’s at £224.15 since Jan 1st, one man’s trash is very true.

Thank you Vulpix and Sue, things starting to make a little sense now.

Sue have been looking at bamboo on ebay.  Some can be bought quite cheaply.  I am going to start with the cheapest wool I can find and then go from there.

Talking of ebay.  Thank you Baxters Mum.  Am going to try listing again.  Going to Mum's tomorrow, things are really hard for her and my brother, so wasn't going to bother listing.  After reading your post I remembered a few small items that I can list and take with me just incase they sell.

From the garage l have moved on to the garden to declutter behind the bar (built in lockdown ) to sort out the things l had hidden out of sight out of mind and lve found a whole new area l can use once cleared. It was nice to be out tbh in the fresh air and a little bit of sun even if it was a tad cold.

Hi all well the weather here has been much too cold to be out for long, yesterday it started sunny but was freezing and then clouded over and started blowing a hooley. Luckily not as bad as it has been in Scotland but I was kept awake by it last night and it has continued today. Hopefully it will calm down a bit later in the week. Today things came in I was sorting a draw and came across a voucher I had completely forgotten. It is one of those for lots of places, knowing you start to lose money after a while I and OH set off for boots and picked up various toiletries that we don't exactly need right now but will be used. We looked at the fragrances thinking we might have a treat but they were far too expensive. I usually buy some for OH for Christmas as they are used regularly but they were much cheaper then. I thought this was strange as I would have expected them to be cheaper now, you live and learn. Then we had some lunch and I went to bandq and got some paint for the front room ceiling so used some more of the voucher. I need to check how much is left on it and will do that tomorrow. I took OH home as totally knackered and went to the sm for food. When I got home OH was snoozing on the couch so I put all the shopping away and made tea. I am now in bed and trying to ignore the wind. I have realised why I am tired this week, my b12 jab is due on Saturday, my phone reminded me to order it today, I always forget
Remembered one thing I wanted to say when my post was eaten by the tinternet monster. Vulpix that quilt is absolutely fab
Hopefully other things will come back to me when my brain starts working again.
Oh yes, learning to knit, I have been knitting for years on and off, my Mum was a great knitter and loved making arans. She taught me the basics when I was young. I wanted to find a local knit and natter group when I retired but that's not happening yet but it might be worth people keeping an eye open for them as there will probably be lovely people there who can help and support you while you are learning plus you could make new friends
