Busy day yesterday attending a family wedding. It was lovely - very low key. I was pretty exhausted by the end of the day though and my knee is hurting a lot today so I am having an extremely lazy day to recover. I plan to start knitting a hat tonight as I've managed to lose 3 hats already this year and have none left - I'm not quite sure how I've managed it but there you go...
407. Hat lost
408. Wedding photos edited - not exactly professional standard but they are pretty good considering I used an iPhone!
409- 411 - 3 christmas presents finally given to family
412 - Wedding present, card & balloons delivered to the happy couple
Vulpix - That quilt is amazing !!
BitbyBit & Weenancy - So sorry for your losses
Apologies if I've missed anyone out who has gone through a hard time or had a Birthday, I sending virtual hugs
I do read everyone's posts but it's often on my phone and tricky to take notes. I have a memory like a goldfish.

Operation Garden commenced.A trug full of violets decluttered (there are many many more)
One broom decluttered into the bin, it objected to sweeping some soil gently off the paving.3 pots emptied of plants and their contents are now in the ground. The pots will be reviewed tomorrow when we decide if they’re fit for salad/veggie growing this year. And tomorrow I shall review the seeds and hopefully declutter some into pots so they can fulfil their purpose or at least get them lined up for planting.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

May I please join in for the year?
I would like to declitter 2022 items 😱
We have already made a start and I really like the idea of keeping a tally. I think it would make one more mindful of future purchases. Getting rid of 2022 items would certainly make me reflect on my shopping habits!February Food Budget £66.20/£400

Evening MrsSD and fellow declutterers,
MrsSD, a belated thank you for our medals 🙂
Since my last post, I have been busy decluttering parts of my Auntie's house and garden. A fortnight ago, I decluttered five low beds, de-weeded them, raked them to loosen up the soil. So they are ready for planting now. So that job was well received by my Auntie, and then last week I decluttered most of her shelving units, 5 bags of her clutter were taken to the tip by myself (mix of paper, plastics and small electrical units), plus I did some tidying up of her home wine collection. A number of years ago (around 10), she got into home brewing (wine) so she managed to fill a dozen or so demijohns with liquor. Some of the liquid has built up a lot of sediment, so these had to be thrown away, but some were salvageable. I let my Auntie do the tasting, as i'm currently on with dry January 😉 she is having a new kitchen fitted in late Feb (good going for a lady in her 80's), so I've suggested that we open up a couple of these home wines/liqueurs to mark the occasion. if the weather up here in East Lancashire behaves itself tomorrow, we are tackling her greenhouses and getting them ready for indoor planting. Will keep you all posted, cheers 😉12 -
1. Write a daily To Do list - only 5 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bedSaturday was a brighter & slightly warmer day. Was not successful in doing 5 tasks 😉 One load of washing done, td, folded & put away. However I have started reading a Decluttering book by Deborah Robertson - hoping to kick start myself into doing some actual decluttering 😉 Burger & chips for DSis, burger, chips & fried eggs for DH & I had lo Somerset chicken (rather than filling freezer) with Choi Sum 🤤 Wudupa.

Hugs for everyone, especially those grieving , ill, struggling.
Love the quilt, Vulpix.
Keep on going with the knitting, Bala.I have never been able to knit and spent most of my time in Primary school waiting for the teacher to correct my last row. We started with a scarf for Teddy , aiming to progress to a teddy , but I never got the scarf beyond about three inches. I remember the shame of it all.
I started my tax figures for the year since it seemed to be a popular activity, although ours is due in in May and the result was lots of paper from early years decluttered.
1 ornament to CS
5 books for CS
1 big pile of paper to recycling
3 jiffy bags to bin - not much need to keep for posting to UK with Brexit costs.
1 big pile paper with confidential details to compost
1 scarf to CS- a present , but straight out as it doesn't suit me and no point in it lying about for 2-3 or more years.
total==12+90=102/365
To limit clutter coming in , no clothes from CS so far, no ornaments only books which are stacking up to go out again or to be sold. I will do a selling trip nearer Easter as the buyer is quite a distance away and I am trying to be frugal with petrol11 -
Just sorted the bedding section of our wardrobe. Nice and tidy. Took out bedding for the guest room to be stored in the guest room. 4 pillowcases to the craft stash in all. Two for a project I avoided buying fabric for the other day.
Going to do an hour in the garden the head off over to the allotment to do a bit there.
Have a nice day everyone
